Adam, the first person on earth, says to god, "God, you've given me everything: a beautiful garden, food for eternity, and a great life, but I have one problem: I'm lonely." So god says, "OK. Here's the deal. I'm going to make you a wonderful companion. It will be beautiful, kind, compasionate, friendly---she'll be perfect. You'll never be lonely again. But in return, you have to give up your right leg, your left arm, and an ear." Adam thinks about it, then says, "Ummm, what can I get for a rib?"
