| IKARI SHINJI | |

Shinji is the main character in the show.
He is 14 years of age. In the beginning
he was very sad. He had no confindence
in his self and he though he did everything
wrong. He laters shows more emotion in
the show. He lives with Mistato who is the
operations chief of "NERV".
Shinji pilot Evangelion Unit 01. He works well with his Eva. He didn't need any training for the first time he used Eva -01. Shinji says that he hates his father but he really wants his fathers love. He is know as the "Third Child" |
| AYANAMI REI | |

Rei is a very quite woman. She doesn't
say much and she has a hard time letting
out her emotions. She will only she her
emotions out to Gendou (Supreme Cammander
of special agency "NERV") Rei is 14 years
of age. There is very little about her
past because it has been erased. She has
been working in "NERV" since the Evangelion
project started.
Rei pilots Evangelion Unit 00. In the beginning she was testing Eva -00 when suddenly there was a malfunction in Eva -00. Rei was badly injured. She is known th be called the "First Child". |
| SOURYU ASUKA LANGLEY | |

Asuka is very different from the others.
She is very competitive. Asuka is very
confident in herself. She is always trying
to be the best on the team. Asuka is 1/4
Japanese and 3/4 German. She is always
the one to lighten up the day. Asuka really
likes to be in charge half the time. When
she was in the same Evangelion as Shinji she
would always get angry at Shinji because he
was doing the piloting.
Asuka is a 14 year old girl. She pilots Evangelion Unit 02. She is know as the "Second Child" |
| KATSURAGI MISATO | |

Misato is Operations Chief of "NERV". She is
kind of immature for her age. She is a crazy
driver. Misato loves to drink BEER. Instead
of coffey in the morning it is BEER. She is
mature when she wants to be. She bacame
Shinji's guardian. She takes care of him
(Shinji is really the one who takes care of
her)
Misato is 29 years old. She is a beautiful lady. All of Shinji's male classmates are in love with Misato. |
| AKAGI RITSUKO | |

Ritsuko is the Head of Evangelion Development
Project. She seems really stubborn. She and
Misato have been friends for a long time.
They are both going after the same guy.
She is 30 years old. Since she was the one who helped made Evangelion she knows a lot more than Misato. Ritsuko is a very mature woman compared to Misato. |
| IKARI GENDOU | |

Gendou is the the Supreme Commander of
Special Agency "NERV". He shows very
little emotions. He is like Rei. He will
only show his emotions to Rei. Even though
He is the father of Shinji, he does not
treat him as his own son. He thinks of
Shinji as only a Evangelion pilot. Gendou
treats Rei as his very own daughter. He once
burnt his hand to save Rei.
Gendou is 48 years of age. He is very misterious. Very little is known about him. |
| SUZUHAR TOUJI | |

Touji is one of Shinji's classmates. He is a good
friend of Shinji. Touji is a very macho type of
guy. He likes Misato and he adores Shinji because
Shinji got to live with Misato.
In the beginning when he first showed in episode three he was very grumpy. His sister was seriously injured during the battle with the Angel and Eva. He blames the pilot of the Evangelion. He finds out that Shinji was the pilot during the battle and he punches Shinji twice in the face. He later feels sorry for Shinji because he saw him crying after the battle with the secon Angel. |
| AIDA KENSUKE | |

Kensuke is also one of Shinji, Asuka and
Rei's classmate. He is very very noisy.
He always carries around a cammera with him.
He is one of those people who loves the
military. He goes out camping alone to
pretend he is at war.
Kensuke is kind of like a hacker. He always has his information about anyone. He is also skilled with the computer. |
