Heroes, an interesting subject. Many people would say that a sports player, a musician, or even an actors would be their heroes. I don't know what to say, but I think the insignificant people playing a significant role are my heroes.

The insignificant people have the best roles, to my best of knowledge. Like Wilson on Home Improvement. He's such a minor character, but he does so much. He gives wisdom, he gives plans, and much more. Another one of my heroes are the type of roles Robin Williams plays. Like Dead Poet Society, that character wasn't the main character, the kids were, but even so, he had an impact on these kid's life. Another role that Mr Williams played that was minor yet major was in Good Will Hunting. I think that was one of his best performance. He wasn't the main character, but he helped the main character through out the storyline. He shows the main character life in another perspective.

Another good example would be Silent Bob from Clerks, Mallrats, and Chasing Amy In these movies Silent Bob doesn't say much, but when he does, he gives advise and says words that have meaning and soul. These characters are the type of people I look up to, not the actors themselves.

Teachers for another instance. Yeah,it sounds sappy, but they are some of my heroes. You don't notice teachers, but they play such an important role in your life. They had a hand in raising you.

The people who risks their lives in combat during war time or any other time are my heroes. They gave up their families, their life, and their freedom to fight in a war to protect their country and others. Like World War II, all the American lives lost at Normandy on June 6, they played such a significant role, but each person was so insignificant. If I could, I wish I could learn all those people's names and learn what their lives were like. They deserve much more than what TV documentaries can do.
