Brian Tong

This is Brian. Brian, Leo and I had dinner at a Hong Kong style western restaurant on June 28, 99. Brian successfully lost 15 lbs at that time, but I think he looked better before.

 

Brian is one of my best friends at high school. After finishing high school, Brian continued his studies at the University of Toronto majoring Actuarial Science. He has been working for the banking industry since he came back to Hong Kong in 1993.

 

Brian, Leo and I have been friends for many years. Among three of us, Brian is the most difficult to understand. It seems he always hides himself behind a curtain. However, we know each other so well that we even share our deep secret.

 

Brian and I like playing games that only a few people can challenge us. Our most favorite games are "Mind Reading" and "Celebrities Recall". "Mind Reading" is simple but difficult. When one of us see or hear something special, this person doesn't say any words about it but the other one has to figure out what he is thinking. As I said, it is simple but difficult, however, believe it or not, our accuracy of this game is about 80%. We hope we can improve it to over 90%. "Celebrities Recall" is also a simple game but the players must be very familiar with celebrities' name. Players just call out as many celebrities with the same last name as they can. The one who can call out the most number of celebrities' names wins the game. Simple and fun, but hard to challenge us, as both of us are very good at these games. From the games we play, especially Mind Reading, we can see that Brian and I understand each other very well.

 

Brian is generous, sensitive and warm. He cares about every person around him. Because of his "lovely" personalities, many people (especially girls) approach him to be his friends and willing to help him when he needs to.

 

Brian lives with a simple life. Although he has many rich friends, he prefers simple and non-lavish life style. As he isn't very much fond of brand names, I seldom see him wearing or using brand named products. I am not saying that he is a miser. As a matter of fact, he knows when and how to spend his money, and he is definitely very generous to his friends (especially me).

 

Brian and I have been friends for many years. Although Brian, Leo and I are not students anymore and can't see each other as often as we can at high school. Brian and I still spare our time to see and talk to each other. I am confident that Brian and I can be friends forever. In my mind, Brian and Leo are always my best friends and I cherish our friendships and the time we spent together.
