Listening to: Milord -- Edit Piaf

It was such a nice sunny day today and BAM! It's raining. Supposedly it's gonna rain tomorrow, too. And I wanted to wear my Express twill pants! *whines* They're yellow, and if it's raining, they'll get all dirty...I remember when I wore them to school for the first time, I accidentally sat on a piece of green gum. Sure was fun getting it off...

Homecoming Aud is tomorrow. I don't know if I should go. No one really goes to the auds anymore, but I talked to Franny M. in the hall today, and she told me to come. She's on Homecoming Court, and if she says the aud is gonna be fun, it most likely will be. But I don't wanna climb the bleachers in my high-heeled sandals that I'm gonna wear tomorrow! Every time I wear those sandals we happen to have an aud. And I don't have a boyfriend to support me while I climb up and down the swaying bleachers. *sob* Guys just don't like me!

Eek! I have three essays due next week, and the week is only three days long! We have an in-service day on Tuesday (not Friday - clearly the teachers don't want us to do anything fun over a long weekend) and I'm going to a play with my Theater class on Thursday. Yupyup, another one. This one's called All's Well That Ends Well (sound familiar? It should. Shakespeare!), and it's gonna be outside. I just hope it doesn't rain...

I made so many silly doodles in my sketchbook today...I'll scan them in sometime for your viewing pleasure. There's one of our school mascot - Reggie the Regent Lion - wearing a drama mask. ^^v

Yushi made an observation today that Sammie is always surrounded by her friends' crushes. For example, right now she's sandwiched between Yushi's and Sunny's crushes. Lucky her. Speaking of being sandwiched, what kind of a name is that for a math theorem - The Sandwich Theorem? Mr. Knowles calls it The Squeeze Theorem. *shakes head in disbelief*

Listening to: Get Along -- Megumi Hayashibara

Ugh. It's been raining for three days now (I think). Totally nasty. I hate walking to school in the rain. Especially when it's windy.

I started my school day out by typing senior quotes for the yearbook. That was brutally hard work. Normally I'm a very fast typist (and usually accurate, if the processor I'm using has a spell check), but these quotes took forever, and I'm still not done with them all! For one thing, seniors cannot spell, or else they use weird notations, and I'm not allowed to change any of it. So I'm stuck typing words such as "envoriment" (I'm guessing the person meant "environment"). And, of course, they're using a lot of abbreviations, which are hard to type fast. But I try my best. XD

Wai! I got a mini-wrench keychain for my backpack! It's so kawaii! I hope lighting crew and stage crew start soon so that I can show off my wrenchie and my brand new screwgun, which still needs a name. I'm thinking something along the lines of Ramoth or Mnementh will do. *salutes Anne McCaffrey*

Listening to: I will Survive -- Gloria Gaynor

How terribly ironic! *sings* I will survive, I will survive...Seriously, I don't know how I can survive with all the stuff that's going on in my life. Take today, for example. I came to school at 7:30 (classes start at 8:25) and spent half an hour talking to Jess about random online PBEMs. How is that bad, do you ask? Well, I'll probably end up joining one of those PBEMs, and let me tell you, they take up a lot of time! *whines* But they're so much fun, it's hard to resist the temptation...Anyway...

Most of the school day went fine (lots of writing in WiTT, as usual...my hand hurts now), but when I got to Theater...Pfft. I don't know how I let myself be talked into it, but now Rebecca (aka Ms. Jallings, aka the theater teacher -- who is absolutely awesome, btw) has me doing the poster for the school play, the design for the t-shirts that go along with the poster, PLUS a design for the Multico t-shirts! And all that has to be done by October 2. I repeat...PFFT!

During 7th period art class I found out that the first yearbook club meeting was today after school. So I hopped on over there to check it out, and the next thing I know, I'm telling Mr. Wo that I'm available every day before school to type stuff. What was I thinking? O.O

As if all that wasn't enough, I had a piano lesson...at 7:30 PM! I was pretty much brain dead by then, partly due to doing calc homework for over an hour. Blah. Me go bye-bye now.

Listening to: Loaded -- Ricky Martin

Grr. Nothing seems to be going right today. Why, just now I tried to upload my site in an orderly manner. Hn. No such luck. That's what I get for not using a fancy publishing program and typing all of my HTML manually. I've gotta get Jessie to let me test my skills at using Dreamweaver. *sniffles* I want Dreamweaver...Ah crap, any website-making proggy will do, as long as it's not Netscape Composer or the Frontpage 2.0. Been there, done that. Doesn't work!

We're starting Upton Sinclair's The Jungle in WiTT, and since the school books are so old, the teacher encouraged us to get our own copies. Being really picky about the state of the books I read, I went to the bookstore...and of course the book wasn't in stock. Not only that, they didn't have any new manga, either. *whines* So I had to print the first four chapters of The Jungle from the Internet. My printer must love me.

I have a major art assignment due on Tuesday, and I still haven't started. I'm such a procrastinator. Oh, and did I ever mention having to do a poster for the school play? What am I going to do? Too much stuff, too little time...-_-()

Listening to: Wild Wing -- Toshihiko Seki

A little over 15 minutes ago I got back from the play I mentioned yesterday. Well, what can I say? It was entitled "Master Harold and the Boys", and I thought it was very well acted out. You know, with a lot of feeling. It has gotten me very upset, however. The story by itself is sad enough...but Sam was there...with his girlfriend. Throughout the whole play they were acting all cuddly AND there were the first ones to leave...together, hugging and kissing. I swear I nearly cried. *sob*

It's hard to believe that three weeks of school have already passed! I've already had tests in all of my classes but Art and Writers in Their Times. AND I have to write an essay for WiTT, plus a play critique for Theater. That's what I get for not having to take a normal test...Blah.

There is so much stuff to say, it's hard to get it all down on paper! Not that I'm actually using paper right now, but you know what I mean, ne? I think I'll stop rambling on and on about nothing and go read the news.

Wow, I finally got around to makin' me own blog! *bounces around happily* Very exciting, I must say. Thank you, Ziggy, for inspiring me! XD

Tomorrow I'm going to watch a play with my Theater class...I hope-hope-hope it's gonna be good. Me likes plays...
