Wahoo-ness! I'm at that party I told you about, mangs, and it's a blast. Five minutes ago the hostess and her daughter Katia decided to play a trick on my dad. *giggles uncontrollably* He and the host were outside smoking while they (the tricksters) made the necessary preparations...So, Katia and I were munching on brownies, our mothers were talking about random stuff...and our dads came in. My dad sat down and looked at the big glass mug in front of him. "What's that?" he asked. Katia and I barely suppressed our giggles. "We poured you some beer," our mothers replied. Katia's dad noted that it was in his favorite mug, and then left. So, my dad goofed around with Katia's dog for a while (btw, she stole a turkey bone...tsk, tsk, bad dog!), and sipped his beer. *falls off of her chair laughing* Then, he was like "@_______________@ What the..." And everyone else was laughing their heads off. My mom said that it was the beer we brought to the party, and silly ol' dad actually believed that. *shakes her head* Then, given that Katia was laughing uncontrollably, he figured out what had happened and went "O___~ You, how much salt did you put in there?" Well, it wasn't salted beer at all. Rather, it was fake beer that tasted much like baking soda. The color and the foam, and everything else (even the smell!) was real...but the taste left much to be desired. LOL Poor ol' dad! And when Katia's dad returned, my dad offered to share the beer from "his favorite mug." Hooray for party tricks! ^^v

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone out there! Gobble gobble, as they say! ^^v I should've made a turkey layout for mah bloggie, but somehow I didn't think of that. Hm. Maybe next Thanksgiving.
The cool thing about Thanksgiving is that we get two extra days off from school. They assume that we'll be partying our heads off, and stuffing ourselves with turkey. Not a chance, dear school officials! I don't celebrate Thanksgiving, primarily because it's really hard to get my whole family together. *glares at her dad* He's a workaholic, mangs. Never comes home from work...But not celebrating means more time for me to do what I like doing (and that doesn't include cooking, or setting the table, or cleaning up after dinner).
Today Francesca called me and said that since I don't have anything to do for Thanksgiving, I could come over to her house and have dinner with her family. It was really nice of her, but unfortunately, my parents were already invited somewhere, and of course they decided to drag me along. That means that I'll be stuck with a bunch of boring adults all evening. So much for my great big plans. *sigh*
Woo-hoo, my Winamp list now has 210 songs! *glomps Megunara.net until it can't transfer any songs* Oops. ^_^;;

Listening to: Serious Chance -- Masami Okui
Wow-wee. The school week is over. Over, I say! That makes me want to jump up and down on my bed, but I know I shouldn't 'cuz my bed will fall apart if I do, and right now my bed is my second best friend. This is rather unusual, 'cuz I normally don't sleep all that much. But this weekend I should relax...
Hehe, I didn't have to tutor today after school, and that makes me very very happy. I wanted to spend the extra time talking to my friends, but I didn't feel like walking to the city bus stop afterwards, so I made my way over to the school buses. I haven't taken the school bus in quite a while and was surprised to find it so stuffed with freshmen. I was joined by Mawar and Joyce, so we talked a little about random stuff. As the bus emptied out, I noticed that the popular people were all sitting on the same side of the bus in the exact same position. It was ridiculous. All of them, sitting on two seats with their backs to the window and their knees slightly bent. Tyler, Marcy, Ryan, and two froshies. Ha! They're pathetic.
*sigh* I've been working on my site for three hours now and haven't accomplished anything. I'm so indecisive, and I undo every single action...and nothing ever gets done.

Listening to: the Gladiator soundtrack ^^v
I'm such a lazy butt. I could've easily finished my theater essay yesterday, or before school, but no...I had to wait until the end of the schoolday and then run to the LMC like a madwoman and finish it then. And then dash down to the basement and turn it in to Rebecca. She lets us hand our papers in by 4 o'clock the day they're due, but no later than that. Heh.
My new tutee is...well...let's just say that he's not very smart and not very pleasant to work with. *sighs* That's what I get for wanting to earn volunteer hours and credits. Blah-ness.
At yearbook club today Colin and I were sorting out the pics for the Fantasticks page...and we came across a pic that he took of the entire cast. It was the most amazing non-artistic photograph I've ever seen! Everyone looks so adorable in there! Everyone but Ethan, of course. The man's definitely not photogenic. We have over 10 pics of him, and none of them are any good. *sigh* Oh well. Rachael's pic makes up for it all, as does Kyle's photo.

Listening to: Nemurenai Yoru Wa -- Megumi Hayashibara
Wahoo-ness! It's been a very good day for me, mangs. For starters, I didn't have to finish my presentation in WiTT, which made me very happy. Then, I was assigned to a new tutee, so I can finally get more volunteer hours (my old tutee only needed help three times over the course of the first quarter). *clears throat* I'm happy to announce that I totally get the stuff we're doing in calc, and I'm making an effort to listen to Mr. Knowles rather that talk to the people around me.
In theater we didn't have to do any work. Instead, we sat around and listened to J.D. Walsch (the white guy from the Disney show "Smart Guy") talk about theater. It was funny to an extreme. AND in art we didn't have to do anything, which was nice because I wasn't in a drawing mood.
Right after school my mom picked me up and drove me to my dental cleaning appointment. It wasn't anything special, but it wasn't bad. Cleanings never are. And THEN, on my way back home (I had to walk 'cuz my mom went to work right after she dropped me off) I stopped at Border's and happily consumed several volumes of manga. I'm totally done with the BSSM series, I read the second volume of Saint Tail, the tenth volume of Tenchi Muyo!, and four volumes of Card Captor Sakura. Wai!
The bad part is, I now have to do my homework. It was such a good day, but nooooo, it has to end with me writing my theater paper. Blah-ness. Thank goodness it's only a three-day week.

Listening to: Vicky and Jane talking in the LMC
Yups, we're a bunch of nerds. We're talking in the LMC, and school hasn't even started yet. *eg* For some reason I'm strangely attached to waking up early and coming to the LMC to use the school computers. Their Internet connection is fast! *wails* I want a cable modem...or DSL (even better!). My poor 56K'er nearly died yesterday downloading.
Happy belated birthday, Mawar! She just came up to us and said "Hi, how you doing, it was my birthday yesterday." ^_^
Blah-di-blah...I have such bad typing posture. Vicky: "No you don't." Me: "Yes I do." I should've made that little dialogue above into an unnumbered list, but I'm too darn lazy! *Vicky patz Angie on the head* ^_~ *Jane comes and plays with her hair, and Vicky joins in* Speaking of my hair, I hate it! It's too...too PUFFY! It never stays in place no matter what I do, it just doesn't! I remember the good ol' times when I had long hair, down to the middle of my back. It was straight as a stick, mangs. And now it barely reaches my shoulders and puffs up horribly. Blah.
I should be doing my theater homework for tomorrow (it's an essay), but I'm too lazy. *Sunny comes up, complaining about not getting enough sleep* (Vicky pops in! "HI EVERYONE!!!!") *bops Vicky on the head* My blog! Mine! Hehehe.
I've gotta finish my WiTT presentation today. Horrible stuff. Me hates presentations to the core. The very act of standing in front of the class kind of shuts me down...puts me in standby mode...and I need rebooting, but no one is there to reboot me. At times like this I wish I had Mr. Olson as the teacher. He was just great at encouraging classroom participation, and no one was every embarrassed about voicing their opinions. Especially me. Plus, I had a crush of mine in my class...which inspired me to act normally. However, if he was in any of my classes now he would be in grave danger. *thwaps Ryan on the head with her Calculus book* Die, you evil, vile creature! DIE!!! DIE!!! (Remembers The Fantasticks "You're...standing...IN MY KUMQUAT!!!" "Damn your kumquat! *clip-clip-clip*" "That does it! You're a murderer! Drown! Drown! *empties watering pan onto the magnolias*") It's kinda like that with me and Ryan. I wish I could clip him down. Drown him. Drown him in HCl (for the chemically illiterate, that's hydrochloric acid). But his shadow always comes back to haunt me (not that he's dead, mind you...but whatever I do to him in the stories I write, he always comes back. Ugh.) (*Vicky mumbles in the background "You're writing way too much on your blog, it's already 8:04am! look at the time you've 'wasted'... well, it's fun, and damn it's hard to type slanted away from the keyboard.") True, true. And damn it's hard to type when you don't know what you're typing! Which I never do.

Listening to: Blue as the Sky -- CHAKA
Wow-wee! I wuv Megunara.net! I downloaded 8 songs today, and all of them were awesome! I wish I could download more, but my 56K modem is grunting, burping, and passing gas, and I assume that means that it wants to rest a while. So I'll let it rest.
I'm so procrastinating right now...I've got my math, WiTT, and theater HW to do, but I'm too lazy...oh yeah, and the remainder of history. Ah...I'm so happy that next week is only three days long. I wuv four day weekends. *stumbles upon writer's block* Ow! *rubs her foot*

Oh glorious day! I found a site where I can download mp3's without having to register! They're all japanese mp3's, too! Megumi Hayashibara and Masami Okui mp3's! Hurrah! Hurrah! Download fest starts tomorrow!
Heh. There go my plans of finishing most of my homework tonight. Well...there's still about two hours left...or possibly three. Or four. Depends on how sleepy I am. *yawns* Heh. There's my answer. *g*

Listening to: Love Revolution -- TWO-MIX
Ah, I'm feeling so much better than I was last week. Shopping always cheers me up, as does chatting w/my buds. My mom and I took a grand shopping trip today, and it was a blast. We bought a fondue pot, a coffee maker (I don't drink coffee, but I'm trying my best to get used to drinking it), several pairs of cute cuddly mittens, a frame for my self-portrait, and the most adorable paperweight ever (it's a fluffly cat lying on it's back with it's paws up in the air...it's absolutely adorable!). And then we went to Party City because it had a big 75% sale banner, and I bought a shitload of gift bags for only 27 cents each. *is proud of herself* And THEN we paid a visit to Danford Jewellers, 'cuz they had a bankrupcy sale. Now, this is the greatest. I was looking at some bracelets, and next to me a middle-aged woman was talking to the saleswoman about what kind of silver bracelet she should get. *giggles* She turned to me and asked me how old I was. I said I was fifteen, almost sixteen. So she put two bracelets to my arm and asked me which one I liked better. I was like "@_______@......." She proceeded to explain that she's getting a gift for her sixteen year old daughter, but she doesn't know what teenage girls like nowadays. So I said that I liked the flat bracelet better rather than the big thick one. And she handed it to the saleslady and declared that she's gonna get the flat one. How cool is that? Someone actually took my advice! Ain't it grand?
*is proud of herself* It's only Saturday night, and I'm already done with my French and Chemistry homework! History and math will follow later tonight, leaving Theater and WiTT for tomorrow. Ha! For once, I'm gonna be done with all of my homework at home! (I usually do it at school the day it's due) I repeat: HA!!!
