Hooray for Halloween! And who's better to grace my blog's Halloween layout than Sakura, the girl with the thousand outfits? Once I saw this pic, I knew it was meant to be used with my blog. So there we go, mangs. Happy Halloween!

Listening to: Joy to My Life -- Naoko Matsui

My computer just crashed, and I was almost done with writing this entry...do you realize how much is sucks to be almost done with a page-long blog entry and then see a huge blue screen with large white letters in front of you, telling you that you have to reboot OR ELSE...?

I was so inspired to work on my site and write a looong blog entry yesterday, but schoolwork got in the way. For WiTT I had to make a poster displaying an article about mold in apartment complexes. We were supposed to do this group project as a follow-up to The Jungle...Anyway. As I lay down on the floor on top of my poster, holding a bunch of markers in my mouth, warm fuzzy memories came rushing to me (can memories be fuzzy?)...

Back in eighth grade, Ms. Tuccinardi split us up into groups and told us to make posters illustrating the age of Andrew Jackson. Each group had a different topic, and my group had to research the arts during Jackson's presidency. Being the more or less artistic person that I am, I had to do the whole poster by myself. Fortunately, the other group members were nice enough to give me all the necessary information. All but one, that is. I remember perfectly well that Ryan Denholm forgot to give me the map, and I had to glue it onto the poster the day of the presentation. And Shelley Glover kept on complimenting me. I was so mad at Ryan...but the guy really came through for the whole group during the presentation. He's a really smooth talker, Ryan is. We ended up getting the only A+ in the class. I guess that's when I started paying attention to him.

*sigh* I guess I'm not completely over Ryan. That sucks, really. That must mean that I've given up on Sam. Does it? *is confused* No, it can't be. I still blush when I talk about Sam, I still grit my teeth when someone mentions his gf...and I still want to walk up to him and tell him that he didn't turn in his senior quote. Oh, those lazy seniors...

Listening to: In This Arm -- Masami Okui

Hello, and welcome to another day of my life! Heh. I'll have to write double tonight, 'cuz yesterday I was too tired after the piano recital to be typing anything sensible (not that I ever write anything sensible), and I was PMSing as well...Blah-di-blah.

I got up super early today to finish my essay for French class. Fortunately, I managed to finish it before 1st hour, so everything was A-okay. Later, in math class, Joyce and I made fun of Srikanth 'cuz he wrote only 5 sentences, and the assignment was to write a whole page. *g* Finally I'm better than him at something. Speaking of math, Mr. Knowles managed to incorporate physics into the lesson, and I was totally and completele lost. I'm a sophie now, and I take chemistry like sophies are supposed to. Physics class comes next year. And since everyone in my class is either a junior or a senior (mostly seniors), I was the only one with that blank look on my face...-___-()

I have a history test tomorrow...I don't wanna study for it. I don't want to do anything...Ms. Bernstein is making us write an outline for the in-class essay that we'll have to write, but I don't see what the point is, 'cuz I always end up changing the game plan when I'm writing the essay, and I still manage to get a good grade. *shrugs* Oh well, I'll go along with whatever Ms. B. says.

I was bugging Emily about Sam (they're in the same English class -- WAAAHHH!!!!), and she told me that on Thursday the English teacher dared him to go out into the hall and ask some random girl if she wanted to make out with him. Supposedly he went out into the hall, but then chickened out and returned to the classroom. *snaps fingers in disappointment* Too bad I wasn't there...But again, if I was, both of us would've prolly run away screaming. Hehe.

Have you noticed how I started the last three paragraphs with the word "I"? Just a random observation on my part, mangs.

I stayed after school today to type up more stuff for Mr. Wo (Serene and I confused him so much that he missed the faculty meeting...we are bad, bad girls!), and on my way out bumped into Mr. Olson, my absolute favorite teacher in the entire world. He taught my English class last year, and I loved everything about the class. Anyhoo, we had a nice little talk, and I asked him if he now misses any of his students from last year. He replied that he did, but not too many, and wiggled his eyebrows mischievously. I think I know which students he was talking about -- Lily, Ryan, Ben, and me. Lily, Ryan, and I were, like, the best students, and Ben made the class oh-so-much fun. *g* I miss that class so much...

Listening to: Dead End Love -- ? from Yoroiden Samurai Troopers

Oh gosh. The Jungle Dance sucked so badly. I don't think I've ever been to a good dance. None of my buds liked it either. For one thing, the music was all the same. (They don't have too much variety in the jungle, now do they?) AND the place was filled with slutty girls who all wore basically the same leopard print pants. It was just...wrong. *eye starts twitching*

In contrast, the Students for Students thing today was pretty darn fun. We got to decorate the main street with pastels *g* Originally the block was divided up into squares, but then, as people filled their square, someone suggested that we expand our artwork, merge some squares together, etc. That's exactly what we did. In fact, we expanded it so much that someone said "Wow, West is exploding!" It did look like the picture was exploding, there was so much going on in it. I drew, like, 5 figures, 3 of which were in profile. *grins like the idiot she is* They turned out pretty good, too. *bounces* And as reward for all their hard work all participants got a box of pastels and a gift certificate to an art store *____* They're going to show this event on TV tonight. I wanna tape it and bring it to art class so that my classmates can see some of the amazing artwork that was done...

I don't wanna play at the piano recital tomorrow...*sniff*

Listening to: Dakishimete Itai -- ? from BSSM

I have signed my death warrant, mangs. I bought the ticket to the Jungle Dance. More precisely, my friends forced me to buy the ticket to the Jungle Dance. I'm shaking at the very thought of dancing. Dancing to that music, dancing in that place, dancing in front of all those people...Argh. I don't think I'll make it! On the upside, that means that I won't have to play in the piano recital on Sunday! Haha, something good can come out of this dance after all. AND I get to wear my python print blazer for the first time ever. *is excited* But dancing...*cringes* I don't wanna go!

Today...today...today my posters were plastered all over the school! And I'm assuming that the administrative crew is putting them up in various locations all over the city. *jumps up and down ecstatically* All my hard work finally paid off! I'm very happy, even though they did make the drape a magenta-burgundy color rather than purple. But it still turned out quite nicely. Much better than my previous poster. And so many people are ordering the t-shirt with my design! I feel so special! *g*

This blog definitely needs a new layout. I'm sick and tired of the lines on the right not reaching all the way to the bottom of the page. Blah. I sure hope I'll have time to work on a new layout this weekend (yeah, right, fat chance!)
