I'm portuguese and in Portugal Manga is not very popular so the only way for me to have access to Akira was in the spanish dubbed version(wich is very bad).This page could be even better with more downloads(videos,music,cool images).I would like to know i it's true that the japanese version is 6 hours long as someone in your guestbook wrote.I'll be back!!:)))

I think that you should really read the comics "Akira". There are 14 full-size 180-page color volumes and they will give you the real lowdown on what is going on in Akira that the movie doesn't do. The books are filled with psychic warfare, and Kaneda a d Kay have a lot more adventures. The clowns play a larger part, and so does Akira (does he ever!). So few people have read the comics, I think it would be a good idea to do a site about them, which I plan to do once I finish reading them. :)
