An X/Sailormoon crossover
Part I: Time
"Time is the eternity to living,
But in living we lose time."

The air crackled with energy. Two groups of people,
within Tokyo Tower gathered their energy. Anticipating
for the moment when either one of the kekkai to
collapse or the shields of one of the 'Seven Angels'
to fall. Either option would be disastrous, resulting
in mass destruction.
The energy in the air was now at a precarious state of
balance. They waited for the moment. The moment when
one of them would make the first move and the rest
would follow.
"Aaachoo!" Yuzuriha sneezed. She took in a deep
breath, looked around and muttered a small apology.
The tension hung over them like a heavy cloud, their
hands resting on their weapons (for those who had
weapons) and their faces cold. Yuzuriha's sneeze
seemed to take away some of the apprehension, but
their faces remained unmoved.
Fuuma's cheek muscle twitched. His nature was
naturally impatient and could not stand waiting. He
was bored and irritated by the delay and could not
resist starting the fight. He gazed into the horizon,
where the sun was setting. *This might be the last
time I ever see a sunset.* he thought to himself.
As the last ray of sunlight disappeared into the
horizon, the hands tighten on the weapons and the
faces steeled.
The fight had begun.

Neo Queen Serenity stood before her palace, her inner
senshi surrounding her. Their faces were filled with
determination. The outer senshi looked grim as well,
while they watched from their palaces, unable to
participate in the fight. They had to prevent an enemy
from invading while the Queen fought to save Earth
from destruction.
Their foe glanced at them briefly before giving a
snort before turning back to what he was doing.
Draining the land of its power, killing it.
Sailor Venus flinched. Though she was no longer the
high schoolgirl who did things without thinking, old
habits were sometimes hard to kick.
Unlike Sailor Venus, Neo Queen Serenity only pursed
her lips and began to gather power. Energy to save
this land, her people and their future. The Ginzuishou
obeyed her command, giving her the power she needed
for the battle. Serenity could feel the support of her
senshi, both inner and outer and her husband, who was
always by her side.
The enemy finally stopped and straightened up, facing
them, his immense height casting a shadow over them.
He pondered for a while before responding.
He laughed.
Serenity could feel her blood chill in her veins as
the laughter echoed throughout her land, disrupting
the peace and tranquillity.
He too began to draw power, first from the energy that
he had robbed the earth of and then from his own
resources.
Both of them gathered their powers to the highest
level, draining their sources dry. They are ready to
sacrifice everything for this fight. A fight to
save/ruin the earth, a fight to decide it all.
Only one thought ran through their minds at that
moment, *A fight similar to this happened millenniums
ago, in 1999.*

Without warning, Fuuma jumped out of his position and
towards Kamui. Holding the Shinken high up above his
head, Fuuma got ready to send a blow at Kamui. Kamui
looked sombre, his violet eyes almost opaque. He too
picked up his Shinken and countered Fuuma's attack.
The spell broke.
One used to hold them down, keep them in the position
as they watch the sun set.
All over the place, the sky dragons and earth dragons
began to fight. In their own kekkai, ignoring the
others as they had each chose an opponent. Subaru
faced Seishirou, his eyes suddenly cold.
"It's time." was the last thing Subaru said.
"Aaaahh!" someone screamed in one of the other kekkai.
Distracted, they watched Seiichirou fall to the
ground, unconscious. His kekkai slowly faded away,
revealing the destruction caused. Immediately, there
was a remarkable change in the atmosphere. The air
surrounding Tokyo Tower began to churn and roar,
creating a huge whirlwind. An ominous dark patch hung
over the tip of Tokyo Tower.
Everybody froze.
At the same time in the future, some major event was
taking place. An event similar to the one they were
having now. The energy level dropped when Seiichirou's
kekkai dispelled, creating a tip on the scales of
time.
Resulting in a time warp.

Sailor Pluto stood behind the Door, her face revealing
the anxiety she felt. She knew that something was
wrong. She could feel it in the air. *The time...
Something's not right.* Her uneasiness increased when
she felt an intrusion in Time, the shifting of the
Time.
Suddenly, she grabbed her staff as pain seized her. It
tore through her body, ravaging her soul as she felt
the pain her teammates felt. The confusion, surprise
and rage.
Her staff fell, hitting the floor with a loud clang,
spinning wildly. She followed; crumpling into a heap
on the floor as Time affected her. Her teammates would
follow suit, soon.
Before lapsing into unconsciousness, she gasped,
"Time will be disruupted, but destiny will still
continue..."

who as a good friend of mine, played the role of
helping me in the editing and advising on what to
write. Actually, we got this idea over the phone and I
developed it. Well, it all started with, "What if we
put X together with Sailormoon?" ^_^;;
To Deanna and Eunice, who helped me in a lot just by
listening to my insistent babbling on the phone and at
school.
To Neko-chan who put up my fanfic on the our
webpage...as I still can't figure out how to work the
'html' thingy despite reading half a dozen books on
html... ^_^;;;
Last but not least, to all those people out there who
had offered to read my fanfic and understood the agony
I went through while cracking my brains to make this
fanfic work...
