Sailormoon is a story about a 14 year old klutzy girl named Usagi Tsukino who does poorly academically in school became the brave heroine Sailor Moon and protects the Earth from wave after wave of evil forces. And of course, she had help. Her friends, Ami Mizuno, who is Sailor Mercury, a IQ 300 super genius; Rei Hino, a psychic who has the ability to fire-read, and has a short temper, who was Sailor Mars; Makoto, a girl who has a bad reputation of getting into fights, but was actually kind-hearted and lonely, she was Sailor Jupiter; Minako Aino, who was already the infamous Sailor V before she met Sailor Moon. Together they are called the Inner senshi. She also had help from Tuxedo Mask, who turned out to be Mamoru Chiba, Usagi's lover from centuries ago in the Moon Kingdom. Later on, Usagi and Mamoru's daughter in the future, Chiba Usa, also called Small Lady, came back to the past from the future and joined the seishi in their endless battles against the evil forces. They also encountered Sailor Pluto, the lonely warrior of time during the battle against the Negamoon and she helped the senshi travel through time. More characters appear in the later series. Sailor Uranus, or Haruka, a tomboy who was also a car racer, and Sailor Neptune, Michiru, the violinist who plays wonderful music. Those two were lesbrians, and they love each other. Finally came Sailor Saturn, or Hotaru Tomoe, the Silent Meiassiah, whose body was possessed by the evil Mistress 9 before, and later on Hotaru killed Mistress 9 and became Sailor Saturn. She holds the power to destory the entire universe. And if she ever use her power, she will die. Those are the senshi of the Solar System. In the last season senshi from other galaxies appeared. There is Sailor Starlights, Sailor Chibichibimoon, and an evil force composed of evil sailor senshi. There are five seasons and three movies of Sailor Moon. Each features new characters and new enemies.
