It took this production about 3 months to finish; they finished it in March.
Kim Dung (Jin Yong, the author of the Return of the Condor Heroes Novel) recently said that Idy Chan was the best Siu Long Lui (Tieu Long Nu) among those who have acted this role before.
Idy fainted twice during the filming. The production had to shoot some scenes in the mountain area and it was very hot. Also,Idy was about 90 pounds at the time.
There was a rumor that TVB was considering giving the role of Siu Long Lui to Barbara Yung Mei Ling (Ong My Linh).
