The Yang's Saga was a TVB 1985 Anniversary Special. It was based on China's history. The special thing about this series is that it had many great stars of TVB. Although this series was short, watching every great stars were entertaining enough. In just one series you will find Donald Chau Nhuan Phat, Lisa Oan Minh Toan,Gigi Chiu Nga Chi, Maggie Troung Man Ngoc, the 5 Tigers, Carina Luu Gia Linh, Shallin Ta Ninh, Jamie Thich My Tran, Margie Tang Hoa Thien,Kathy Chau Hai My, and many, many more.

In this series two of the 5 Tigers paired up with their lovers in real life. Tony Leung Trieu Vi was paired up with Margie Tang Hoa Thien and Mieu Kieu Vi was paired up with Jamie Thich My tran. It was cute to see them pair up on screen. Kent Thang Chan Nghiep was suppose to pair up with Barbara Ong My Linh, but she passed away. So in this series he wasn't paired up with anyone.
