Purpose:
To conduct fundamental and applied research on cotton fibre, yarn cloth
cotton seed and on processing of cotton fibre with a view to optimum utilization
of Pakistan cottons.- To provide facilities for the scientific evaluation
of the fibre properties and yarn characteristics of the improved varieties
of cotton evolved at various breeding station of the committee and to
compare their performance with the established varieties.- To carry out
fibre and spinning testing on the trade.
