It's been a long time since I touched an Eva fic, but I recently decided I could make another review.

This one fic is one of my personnal favorites. Why, you ask? Well, first of all, it's WAFF. And good, simple WAFF. Second, it includes one element from my fanfic series, Child Of Love (Ok, I might be biased, so what? :)

It's in a future where Third Impact never happened. We are in 2027. Shinji and Asuka got married and are living happily (well, sort of) and we get to know what happened and what is happening to them throughout the fic. The author used several kind of narrators to tell his story. Sometimes it's an entry from Asuka's diary, sometimes it's an external narrator, or sometimes it's an interviewer coming to make a report on the Major Ikari Asuka Langley... :)

Scenes are nicely done, and the atmosphere is well rendered. The only little, but very tiny, problem I have with this fic, is more on the story part: at one point there is an angel attack. Either the author didn't want to write it, or either he didn't feel like it was necessary, but I just feel like it was completely out of place. Besides, how the Evas dealt with the angel was completely surreal ^^;. Anyways, it's not a major fault of course, and won't prevent you from enjoying this nice little fic. It was just that I needed to tell what felt wrong in this fic :)

Overall, go read it if you have some time and you seek for a nice WAFFy fic, you won't regret it.
