The phone rang for Professor Chronos. It was Eudial on the other end. "I've been studying the Holy Grail and I keep seeing the shadow of a person."
"That is he shadow of the person who will use the Holy Grail," Chronos replied. "If the person who uses the Holy Grail is on our side, we can destroy the world. But if the person is on the other side, all our plans will be destroyed. We must get the Holy Grail before the Sailor Senshi!"
He laughed, squeezing the phone in his hand. The case cracked. Eudial pointed out. "Uh, Professor, you broke the phone."
The Professor lauhged even harder. "The cost will be deducted from my paycheck. I want to make the Senshi pay for it."
Serena and the girls were studying. She cheered loudly. "Yeah! I finished a problem."
"That's great, Serena," Lita replied.
"And in only twenty three minutes!" Serena continued excitedly. "That's a record for me."
Ami looked over the problem. "You made a mistake here, Sereha."
Serena cheers turned into tears at the announcement. Ami tried to console her. "You can still try again."
"I don't want to," Serena sobbed. "I can't stand the pain any more."
Rei smiled. "Did you forget the pain of having your soul taken by the demon?"
Ami and Lita nodded. "Doing homework is definetly not as painful as that."
Serena nodded. "It felt like drinking an entire two-liter bottle in thirty seconds."
Later, Mina sat by herself. Artemis asked her, "Hey, what's up?"
"Artemis," Mina replied thoughtfuly, "Why do you think the demon has never attacked me? Everyone except me has had their soul taken."
Artemis replied off the top of his head. "Maybe it's not pure." When he figured that was exactly what Mina was thinking, he quickly corrected himself. "But that can't be it."
Mina replied in a depressed tone, "Maybe it's becuase I stopped playing volleyball."
Artemis asked, "Are you worried about it?"
Mina replied, not to convincingly, “Not really.”
Mina practiced volleyball by herself after Artemis left. Serena wlaked by on the sidewalk. Mina served the ball. It bounced off the wall she was serving it to and hit Serena smack in the head.
Mina crouched by Serena who was sprawled out on the sidewalk. “Are you okay?”
Serena sat up. “I’m fine. Are you okay, mina?”
Mina saw Artemis hiding. She thought, So Artmeis put her up to this. “You mean because I haven’t had my soul taken yet?” She shook her head. “I’m not worried about it at all.”
As Serena walked reassured. Mina thought, I can’t believe I’m the one without a pure soul.
Mina played the UFO catcher game in Andrew’s arcade. Luna and Serena came in. “Have you seen Andrew?” she asked as she looked around hopefully.
Mina shook her head. “Nope.”
Serena became serious. “Are you sure your okay? I mean about not being attacked by a demon?”
Luna laughed. “Maybe Artmeis worries too much.””Of course,” Serena agreed. “Mina would never worry about a thing like that.”
Mina didn’t reply. Which part of me isn’t pure? If they can’t notice my pureness, then the enemy isn’t very goo.
Luna got a thought. “You’re not trying to set yourself up as a target?”
the implications of Luna suggestion hit Serena. She went ballistic. “Mina! Don’t do such things! That’s crazy!” She shook Mina’s sholders and they hit the UFO catcher amchine. It caught dozens of ugly UFO catcher dolls.
Mina cried out in defenxe. “I wouldn’t do something like that!”
Serena let go of her shoulders and looked around at the UFO catcher dolls. Mina asked Serena, “Take half of the dolls?”
Serena refused quickly. “Um, no thanks. they’re too ugly.”
Later, Serena, Luna, and Artemis followed Mina through town, spying on her. Luna said, “I’m sure Mina won’t try to do something stupid.”
Artemis disagreed. “I’m not too sure.”
Mina went into a book shop. She pulled down a book about entitled, “Purify your Soul.” Quickly, she began to read it.
Erica and Michelle greeted Mina. She looked up from her book. Erica caught sight of the title. She asked in shock, “Why are you reading that book?”
Mina smiled at them. “Erica, Michelle, what do you know about pure souls?”
Michelle thought. She might be trying to find the talismans.
Mina continued. “I mean, how would a person try to get a pure soul?”
Michelle replied, “They might do things to help others.”
Outside, a blood donor truck drove by. It announced, “Free cookies and juice to those who donate blodd.”
Mina brightened. “Gotta go. I’m goon a help others by donating blood!”
Professor Chronos called Eudial. “Have you found the next target yet?”
Eudial hit a button on her computer. “Yes, Ihave. But I’m afraid the Sailor Senshi might interfere again.”
The Professor nodded. “I will make a demon that will keep the Senshi from interfering.”
Mina munched on a cookie. “I’ve given blood three times today. I must be very pure.”
Serena face Darien. “I’m really worried. Mina’s been going around town giving blood. she thinks her soul is impure.”
”We’d better watch over her in case the enemy attacks,” Darien agreed.
the other girls watched min from the bushes. “We should be ready in case the enemy attacks,” Lita said determined.
”Great, we have to protect the crazy from the enemy,” Rei mumbled.
Artemis said softly. “I wonder if Mina really is pure, since she keeps giving blood to prove that she is.”
Serena ran up to Mina. “I brought you some health drinks”
Mina gulped them down. “Great! Now I can give more blood!”
Eudial’s car sped by. She got out of her car and aimed her gun at Mina. Mina smiled as Eudial shot her. Her soul crystal flew out of her.
Serena rushed to Mina, worried. Mina giggled insanely as she picked up her soul crystal. Serena, concerned, tried to take her soul from her. “Mina, we need to put that back in your body.”
”No!” Mina shouted, as her giggles turned into laughter. “It’s my pure soul!” With that, she ran off.
Eudial dashed into her car and sped off after Mina. Serena chased after Mina on foot. the other girls and the cats burst out of hiding and ran after Mina. Artemis tripped on a bottle. The other girls all tripped over him and landed on top of him.
Eudial caught up to Mina in a parking lot. Mina had passed out and her soul lay near her body, glowing slightly. Eudial reached for Mina’s soul.
”Stop! Leave her alone!” shouted Serena.
Eudial turned. “Well, before anyone esle shows up. Demon, lock the parking structure!” The doors into the parking structures slammed shut. Before the last of the doors closed, Erica and Michelle squeezed in.
Serena saw Erica and Michelle. What am I going to do? I can’t transform in front of them or they’ll know my identity. She saw Eudial standing over Mina. But I need to save Mina. I have no choice.
”Moon Cosmic Power!”
Erica and Michelle, seeing Serena tranformed, were stunned.
Sailor Moon began one of her infamous speeches. “Going after a girl who treasures her soul. I won’t forgive you. I am the pretty soldier, Sailor Moon! In the name of the Moon, I will punish you!”
Eudial shouted, “Demon, kill Sailor Moon!”
The demon shrugged. “I’m supposed to lock things, not attack!”
Eudial answered in frustration, “I don’t care! Attack anyway!”
The demon luanched an attack on Sailor Moon. She became caught in his trap. Eudial bent to get Mina’s soul. To stop her, Michelle threw a UFO catcher doll at Eudial. It hit her in the head.
Eudial, now angry, ordered, “Demon, attack those two!”
”We have no choice. Neptune Planet Power!”
”Uranus Planet Power!”
Serena, taking her turn to be shocked, was surprised that Michelle and Erica were Neptuen and Uranus.
”Uranus Meteo Strike!” Uranus knocked Eudial away from Mina’s soul crystal.Sailor Neptune picked up Mina’s soul crystal without any interference. “This isn’t the talisman.” She gave Mina her heart crystal back.
”Mars Celestial fire Surround!”
”Jupiter Thundercrash Zap!”
”Mercury Ice Storm Splash!”
The other Senshi attacked the doorway. It blasted a hole in it. They stepped inside. Eudial saw all the Senshi around her. She screamed. “Demon, finish them all off!”
”Neptune Tidalwave Submerge!”
Neptune blasted the demon. It went to Eudial. “I’m not good at fighting. I wasn’t made for this kind of stuff.”
Serena faced the demon. “Time I finished you off.”
”You should attack Eudial instead of me!” the demon shouted in terror.
”Moon heart-”
”Eudial-”
”Spiral-”
”Fire-”
”Collision!”
Buster!”
The two attacks hit eachother. Eudial’s deflected Sailr Moon’s straight into the demon. It was destroyed.
Eudial pointed her gun at Mina. “All right everyone. Move close together or I kill the girl.” The Senshi obliged.
Mina began to wak up. She picked up the UFO catcher doll Michell had thrown. Chucking it as hard as she could, Mina threw the doll at Eudial.
”Venus Star Power!”
”Venus Love Chain Encircle!” The attack knocked Eudial’s gun away from her. Eudial ran out of the parking lot as fast as she could.
Uranus and Neptune started to leave. “Wait!” said Saior Moon. Erica, Michelle, tell me what you are after. Why do you want the talimsan if you have to destryo everyone’s life?”
Uranus said sharply, “Don’t investigate it.”
Neptune replied, “You shouldn’t get involved.”
The two turned and left. Sailor Mars wondered, “Are they the enemy?”
Erica and Michelle stood outside the building. “Do you regret letting them know our idnetity?”
Michelle negated. “We had to transform to save our lives. Besides, I wanted to help those girls.”
