Story: Genjuro and Haohmaru both trained under Caffiene Nicotine.
One day, Caffiene had Genjuro fight Haohmaru for a scroll that increases
your fighting skill. Genjuro won this fight, but was extremely brutal
and almost killed Haohmaru. Caffiene gave the scroll to Haohmaru and
expelled Genjuro. That is when Genjuro found fighting on the side
of good was not worthy of his talents. Now Genjuro is hunting down
Haohmaru and Caffiene Nicotine to get his revenge.
Ninja Scroll: In the manga movie Ninja Scroll the main charicter is named Jubei Kibagami. Surprisingly Jubei and Genjuro have the same last name. Also in Ninja Scroll Jubei can swing his sword so fast that the air following the sword is moveing so fast it is strong enough to cut the opponent. And again Genjuro has this same ability.
Also in Ninja scroll one of the three good guys is named Dakuwan and he looks exactly like the Samurai Shodown charicter
Caffine Nicotine. Both have same hat, same staff, same face look, and same long grey beard.
And again the evil charicter Shijima in Ninja Scroll resembles the Samurai Shodown charicter Basara. They both move through shadows and Shijima has a claw weapon that shoots out with a chain attached
and Basara has a triple bladed shuriken attached to a chain.
