I Abibde

("ee uh-beeb-day")

VERSION 1.01

ALIAS: The Mad Dwarf

AUTHOR: I Abibde

OTAKU OF: Mizuno Ami / Sailor Mercury

FACTION: Amichanians

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: The Mad Dwarf is actually not that short (5'6"), but countless hours of being hunched over a keyboard seem to have reduced his height. His scrawny frame (120 lbs.) is topped by a shock of brown, gray-trimmed hair, with a short, red beard as an odd contrast; blue-gray eyes peer menacingly out from behind impossibly thick, wire-framed glasses. He wears a light blue raincoat with a matching hat; underneath that, he wears a poorly-fitting gray uniform fashioned after those traditionally worn by officers of the Dark Kingdom. His oversized boots squeak in an annoying manner when he walks.

POWERS: I Abibde's sole power is his ability to produce all sorts of bizarre objects from the pockets of his raincoat (and from underneath his hat, when he needs to be devious). These include (but are not limited to) various squirt guns, blue-frosted doughnuts, water balloons, and bad theme music for any given occasion (generally the ending theme from the "Barbarella" movie, which is lethal). The objects produced tend to be more irritating than harmful, save for the Dixie Cup, which, when filled with water, allows him to become I Abibdeluxe, the Mad Dwarf Deluxe (described in a separate Writer's Guide, already posted).

EQUIPMENT: For transportation, the Mad Dwarf relies upon a blue-painted tricycle, which can fly through the air (not very quickly, mind you), and occasionally teleport, though it tends to deposit its rider in dangerous situations when that happens.

WEAKNESSES: If he's given a good fanfic, he'll be powerless to act until he finishes reading it. He's also overly sensitive to remarks about his height. In addition, he's powerless without his raincoat. Unlike most Amichanians, he knows well enough to exercise a little restraint when confronted with his Sailor Senshi. Lately, he has acquired another notable weakness: if anyone reveals anything to him about the plot of Final Fantasy VIII that he does not yet know, he becomes extremely upset.

PERSONALITY QUIRKS: I Abibde's reasonably intelligent, but he has little in the way of common sense, which means that he's remarkably prone to accidents. Under normal circumstances, he's sneaky, and given to chuckling wickedly (while wringing his hands in the style of a villain) for no particular reason. When he's angry, he stutters a great deal.

ORIGIN: The Mad Dwarf was content to remain a Nameless Otaku until he saw the Minpire rise from the ashes of other factions. It broke his heart to see the empty-headed blonde ruling over what rightfully belonged to the blue-haired genius, so he put air in the tires of his tricycle, and rode off to do battle in the name of the Princess of Mercury.

GOALS: I Abibde seeks nothing less than the restoration of the Amipire, and will resort to everything in his power (which isn't very much, really) to see that dream realized.

NOTABLE ALLIES: Most of the Amichanians are blissfully unaware of his existence, but he's constantly seeking to find others of his kind. There is strength in numbers. At the moment, he has no allies. None. I'm talking a lone warrior, here, if he can really be called such.

NOTABLE ENEMIES: You want enemies? He's got more than his share. He really doesn't like the Minpire, as can be expected, but he reserves most of his hate for the Outer Senshi Defense Force, with which he was briefly allied. Of that group, he particularly doesn't care for Super Steve (with whom he once dueled), and for Mister K's horny ferret. In addition, he doesn't like Wiseass, who had the nerve to seal him up in a burlap bag, and Nightman, whose Night Senshi tried to carry him off because he had the Seventh Sense.
