Just bear with me... :)
----------------------------------

In a large auditorium set up in the middle of the great Otaku Desert, mayny
named and unnamed warriors had gathered for a very important reason....

At least they HOPED it was important....

Cape-Mike, resplendant in a tuxedo(along with his cape), stepped out from
behind a curtain and the spotlights appeared on him...

...only to sweatdrop when a NO yelled; "Oh my god, it's Tuxedo Kamen!!"....

An anvil promptly killed the offending NO and CM cleared his throat;
"Ahem...welcome ladies, gentlemen, and other assorted denizens of OtakuWorld to
the first annual(and I hope not the last) OtakuWorld awards! This is to be a
fun format for awards I believe should be given out to those of us who have
earned them...whether we like it or not! The awards will range from the
serious to the silly, and everything in between; I'll start things off by
naming a few awards of my own, and leaving it to anyone else out there to add
awards of their own! (1)

On cue, a large screen behind the caped one blinked to life, and the name of
the 1st award appeared as CM went on; "1st up is what I believe the most
appropriate award for the evening, the 'Lifetime Achievment award' given
hopefully annually to the one or ones when appropriate; the receipiant is one
who will have, time and time again, proven they know the true meaning of being
an Otaku Warrior or have simply been an outstanding role model for the rest of
us...." The screen showed images of two very familiar former warriors....
"...and the charter winners of this grandest of awards are the only two whom it
could truly go to...Jet Wolf and Belial; the two who started it all one fine
day in this very desert we're all in now. A seemingly simple arguement over
who was the superior Senshi, Ami or Rei quickly turned into the total chaos we
all know and love today, and without these two, who knows where we'd all be
today.... The blue mohawked one was a devoted Ami-worshipper, and the Wolfy
one herself espouted the virtues of Rei-Chan rather loudly at each other until
more and more people got involved in bashing each other senseless. Before
long, Ataru Moroboshi bodyswitches, gigantic starships, and thermonuclear
devices became the order of the day for all of us on AFSM, and with any luck we
WILL bring down the net by 2002!!"

Much appreciative applause reverberated throughout the auditorium, and CM
waited for reletive silence before speaking again; "My only regret is that
neither of these two can be here to accept this award from the bottom of my(And
my author's) heart.... It's thanks to them that insane maniacs like me can try
to take over the world on nothing more than a whim!!
BWAHAHAHAHAH!!!-er....sorry...." He shuffled a few notes, and went on....
"And now, I'll also start the silly awards with the 'Most often mangled name
award'; needless to say, this award goes to NyaCrescentMoonWand!!! He can come
up here and get his award whenever he feels like it!"  Music began to play;
"Well, it looks like we're heading for a commercial break, so stay with me now,
o.k.? Be right back soon!!"

TBC by anyone....

(1) Basically, anyone can come up to the stage just like on the Grammys, or
Academy awards and hand out what they'd like! Just be sure to dress up! :)

(Out of respect, a copy of this has been sent to JetWolf...can anyone get a
copy to Belial?)
