Physical Description: Katarina is 5' 6", 140 lbs. She has a decent figure, but
nothing to nosebleed about, really. Straight reddish-brown hair, usually up in
a very messy ponytail. Silver wire-rimmed glasses frame her royal blue eyes,
which are hard to see through her long bangs. She wears her version of casual
attire. White baby-tee, blue short sleeve button down shirt, black jeans (or
shorts, depending on the weather), white socks, and black hi-top Reeboks with
the velcro at the ankles.
Powers: Even if you cant tell by looking, hauling stuff around for people who
are either too lazy or too stupid to do it for themselves has giving her
amazing upper body strength, gracing her with a killer left hook, and an
incredible rapid-fire ping pong serve. However, its used mainly as a defensive
attack, its power and effectiveness equivalent to Chibimoon's Pink Sugar Heart
Attack, but with longer range.
Equipment:
- Whatever she happens to be reading at the time, usually the entire Laurell K.
Hamilton series, as well as the occasional Terry Pratchett or Piers Anthony
book.
- Two or three ping pong paddles, all of them the same shade of purple.
- 5,000 plain white ping pong balls, used for a basic attack.
- 2,000 blue ping pong balls--upon contact, explodes into jillions of tiny
bubbles, not unlike Mercury's Shabon Spray, but on a smaller scale. Only works
if three or more are fired in rapid succession.
- Required Hammerspace: They were having a sale at Wal-Mart, but hey, what
else is new.
Weaknesses: Loves to dance, as long as the song has a good beat, and cant
resist the pull of just about any book. As long as she is dancing or reading,
she is unaware of her surroundings and cannot fight back.
Personality quirks: Katarina is a born follower. She cannot make major
decisions, no matter how important, unless someone is supporting her in some
way, the exception being any debates of the importance and powers of her
Ami-chan. Talks about her as if they were long-time friends, even though they
have never met.
Origin: Between her first and second year of college, Katarina was chosen to
intern (translation: go-fer and human coffee maker) for Norm Abrams and his
ragtag bunch of lumber loving lackeys for part of the summer. (What a waste
it turned out to be.) When she found out about the Amichanian Base Cabin
project, she put in for an extension, knowing it would be more work, but
couldnt quite shake the hope that maybe, just maybe....she could meet her
Ami-chan, and become part of her Faction.
Goals: currently, just to meet and defend her Ami-chan. That, and to get away
from Norm Abrams.
