Aureal peered into the snake pit and shuddered. "Snakes," she commented, I
hate snakes."
"Hey!" a voice called irritably. Aureal turned around and saw a man dressed
in brown with a brown hat and holding a bullwhip swing in through a window.
"That's MY line!" he said. Aureal sweatdropped.
"Oh, gomen." she apologized. The man blinked.
"Gomen? What the heck is that?" he asked.
"Gomen? It's Japanese for sorry," Aureal explained.
"Oh, I see... hey, wait a minute! The Japanese are allied with the Nazis,
and I hate Nazis!" the man growled and swung his whip menacingly. Aureal
eeped and backed away. D'ni frowned and waved a hand and a Hotaruchanian NO
ran up and tried to push the intruder into the pit of snakes, but he pushed
the NO in instead. D'ni scowled at him and gestured again, and a whole
platoon of NOs ran into the room, ignoring the fact that the room was far
too small to hold all of them, and they all ganged up on him and shoved him
out the window he'd swung in on. Aureal sweatdropped again.
"So, was there anything else you wanted to do while you're here?" D'ni asked
Aureal.
"Well..." Aureal thought a second. "Where was that computer room again?"
D'ni sweatdropped. Is that all she can think about? D'ni wondered.



Aureal grinned and started playing on the HBC computer system again while
D'ni, standing behind her, glowered at the screen and wondering how long it
was going to take to get rid of all the Mercury stuff Aureal was
downloading. She winced as the sound of breaking glass reached her ears, and
remembering that there was still an attack on her base going on, told
Aureal, "I'll be right back... there's some... stuff... I have to do."
Aureal nodded absently and continued what she was doing.
Several minutes later, while a very large file was downloading, she looked
back to see if D'ni was sneaking up on her, saw D'ni sneaking up on her, and
turned her attention back to the computer. Seconds passed.
"Huh?!?!" Aureal finally exclaimed, doing a double take and whipping around
to look at a sweatdropping Sailor D'ni.
"Oh, gomen, did I disturb you?" D'ni inquired, trying to smile cheerfully.
"I just wanted... to ask if you... wanted something to drink or anything..."
Aureal continued to stare at D'ni. D'ni faltered an instant, but continued,
"or a snack...I think we have some crackers.. or jellybeans..."
D'ni had to fight the instinct to step backwards as Aureal jumped up and
exclaimed, "jellybeans?!?!?! You have jellybeans?" Aureal looked excitedly
at D'ni, who sweatdropped again.
"Uh, yeah.." D'ni replied, caught off guard by Aureal's sudden enthusiasm.
"I'll go get them." D'ni left and returned a minute later carrying a large
bag of jellybeans.
"Arigato!" Aureal's eyes widened as she looked at the yummy jeallybeans, and
she sat down at the computer again, somehow managing to toss jellybeans up
in the air and catch them in her mouth while typing. D'ni rolled her eyes at
the Amichanian's back.
