We'll find out soon enough! > [OW!] A letter from Otaku City... Dearest Uchu, How are you? It's me, el Pegaso! I hope this letter finds you happy and healthy. I am well, and hope to return from this Otakemon quest Skuld has me on soon. I've caught many Otakemon so far, with the help of my Glitch. He's easy to get along with, and very friendly, since I was given him from Skuld. He's my constant companion. My cabbit, on the other hand, is always weary of me, and super suspicious. He never does what he is told, and practically ignores me in a battle. He needs to learn to trust me, but I can't seem to gain his trust. It's beginning to become a concern of mine. My Wark finally evolved! It now has two heads, and is a very funny sight to see. The bird, which is now called Chocoduo, fights with itself constantly, but very entertaining! Tokoz is with me, too. She wasn't too pleased with me when I captured her back at the Amichan Mall, but she seems to be enjoying her "vacation" now. "Hey, Peggy! Whatcha writin?" peered a peeping Tokoz. "A letter." "Oooh," teased Tokoz, "You've got a girlfriend, eh?" eP blushed a bit, "Well, we've not exactly said..." "So...you are available?" chided Kitsune, joining in on the eaves-reading. "Guys! C'mon!" yelled eP, as he evaded the duo. Tokoz giggled, "C'mon Kitpix, lets leave the loverboy alone..." "I'm NOT Kit-*Pix*!" eP became secondary again, and out of the spotlight, so he continued his letter. Kitsune joined us after she was ignored and authorless at the soccer game that sorta...sprang up outta nowhere. I think I got into one of those confusing...things...that happens around here, because I never got to see you at the CTotM. My apologies if I missed you, because I would have liked to see you again. eP sighed. He thought about a lot of things at once, including things he didn't want to think about. He rose with a frown and walked over to a very large man meditating. "DemonStalker, can I ask you something?" The behemoth spoke without facial expression. "Yeah?" eP sat down next to his newest Otakemon, BigBro. "What did you do before you were Otakemon Gym Leader at Otaku City?" DemonStalker continued his meditation. "I don't remember. All I remember is wandering, then finding the Gym. But, I've told you that already..." eP sweatdropped. "Yeah..." "Then, what was your question?" came the deeper reply. eP sweatdropped harder. "Um...have you ever...really liked someone?" "By what definition?" he asked without inflection, his hulking rock exterior at peace. "Um...you know..." "You love someone?" "...well..." "You've told her?" DemonStalker queried, somehow being able to read his mind... "Yeah..." "Then, what's the problem?" eP sighed. "Well...she's not just anybody. She's special. Special enough for me to..." his voice dropped off. DemonStalker opened his eyes. "Don't you think she realizes that?" eP stared. "Yeah..." "Maybe she's coming to grips with your feelings, and with her own." He closed his eyes again. "Give it some time, the best things are worth waiting for." eP rose and walked over to where he had been to continue his letter. DemonStalker gave him a slight look and chuckle as he rose. I'll soon have new pets for you. I've been chasing this purple and silver mouse thing, called an Uchuchu. That's how I've found Otaku City, and my newest Otakemon, DemonStalker. We were all tired when we got to the City, but, unfortunately, the first person we ran into was DemonStalker, who went ballistic when he noticed Kitsune's pink belt. He demanded a fight...and well...they've since made up, of sorts. She is no longer wearing pink, and he is meditating more.[1] Everything seems to be calm now, except for a couple of people we met in the Otakemon Center in Otaku City. The 3 were obviouly overjoyed to meet me, and I could smell my author's hand in it. They...kinda spooked me, and so I battled them. The man in the Rainbow Tuxedo, and the girl that kept hitting on me, Sailor Terra, used a...Starlight, I think. Called herself Sailor Pikachu, but could never stay in one form of female or male long enough. The short end of the story, I think I made a few new enemies, inadvertently. They met a guy at the other end of the Center. Some swanky Itatian suit wearing person they called boss, and he fitted them with Rainbow colored vestments. They said something about coming after me and my Otakemon, later. Team Rocket, they called themselves, whatever that means...[2] And get this! I saw Wicked Lady trying to capture her own Otakemon, and she was dragging around that nice man I met in the Jungle, I think his name was Joel...and his Neko-Freak. They were claiming something about being evil, and wanting to rule the world, they just had to capture enough Otakemon...[1] But, you know me, Uchu. You know I don't like to have enemies. Sometimes, I just wish things were a bit...easier, ya know? Sometimes I miss the days in the man zoo... "Glitch?" The small, brown spiderbunny bounded up to eP. "How did you know I needed a Glitch in my lap?" "Glitch." it responded offhand, as to say 'Lucky guess.' I've wasted enough of your time, I guess, Uchu. Anyway, I have to feed my Otakemon. Take care of yourself, and I hope to see you soon! Always Yours, eP. He sighed and sent his message through his digibook modem to the Artemis-P and Spice Caravan, addressing it to Sailor Universe. He looked over at his resting BigBro, the Tokozini and Kitpix having a snow fight with the last of the remaining snow, and his Glitch resting comfortably in his lap. The sun was setting, catching the vibrant reds and oranges in his "4" medal. And he thought of home. But not the home of his destroyed world, but something...more. His home had now become the soil he was sitting on. And it was his job to make the best of it. In the far distance, a hot air balloon was seen... TBC? [1] If you don't remember any of these events occuring, rest assured. They never took place, and all involved were heading in those directions. This happens to be close to the geographic center of this Plotline that just kinda...happened, so I'm setting things up for the continuation of it. Joel wanted to become a Team Rocket type to character for himself and his group, sighting that Wicked Lady and Jessie look an awful lot alike. I tend to agree. The Rainbow Group I didn't really have a large plan for, other than to write them as interesting funny bad guys with heart. Yet another Team Rocket? Possibly. But...really, can you have too many Team Rockets? I say nay! [2] ...and so I followed up their next meeting. ^_^ And now on to meeting #3. And, anyway...I'm getting the anti-Pokemon feel from the ng lately...tis not a good thing, cuz it is a good show... Nathan Bashore, author of el Pegaso...
