Crystal Tokyo.
It has been five years since the corronation of Princess Serenity.
Five years of peace and quiet for the Senshi of the Earthian solar system.
Not a ripple or whisper of any oppsing forces since the release of Chaos and Galaxia.
Nothing at all.
- In one of the Palace gardens, the Outer Senshi meet. -
"It has been quite peaceful these five years, hasn't it?" Meioh Setsuna mused aloud, looking towards her guardian planet. Even through the blue sky, Pluto was but a very dim glimmer, but she could feel its presence and the power which allowed her to become SailorPluto. Turning around, Setsuna faced a familiar pair.
"Yes is has, it's almost like a dream." an aqua-marine haired woman replied. Kaioh Michiru was an elegant and beautiful young lady, known all over Japan as an excellent violinist and artist. Beside her was a handsomely clad, blond haired young woman, often mistaken for a young man.
"Not likely to last long. It feels unnatural." said the blond haired young woman. Kaioh Michiru nudged her partner in the ribs, and gave her a knowing look.
"Ahem.. but it is nice." she admonished, smiling down at Michiru. Michiru in turn smiled up at her partner, Tenoh Haruka. Tenoh Haruka looked up into the sky, gazing in the direction where she felt her home planet, Uranus, sitting in space. As the wind carressed her face she could only think of racing and being with Michiru. Nothing else could satisfy her more. Gone were days of defending Earth, and her princess, as SailorUranus.
Michiru was also gazing into the clear blue sky. She too was released from the duties of a Sailor Senshi as SailorNeptune. With a sigh, she closed her eyes and withdrew a little into herself. In her mind and body she could feel the power granted her by her mother planet, Neptune. Then, for but a brief second, Michiru felt a shimmer within. What could it be? was it anxiety? doubt? or some premonition of the future? she asked herself, flashing her eyes open.
Both Haruka and Setsuna noticed Michiru's startled reaction. Tensing, Michiru felt their quizical gazes upon her. Slowly, she took out the Deep Aqua Mirror. Holding the mirror in both hands, Michiru stared into her reflection and commanded it, "Show me."
The image in the mirror seemed to faze and swirl, sparks of light danced across its surface. An image of a sillouette flashed and was gone. The surface was clear once more - reflecting the startled and confused look upon Michiru's face.
"Unngg..."
Turning around, Setsuna and Michiru saw Haruka holding her stomach, standing doubled-up. She was breathing and perspiring heavily. Putting away the Deep Aqua Mirror, Michiru and Setsuna helped Haruka to a nearby bench where she eventually recovered to a regular breathing pattern.
"That entity..." Haruka breathed out,"seems familiar."
"I do not detect anything as of yet interferring with the time and space continueum." Setsuna replied, slightly troubled. Threats in the past had never occured without some disturbance of the continueum.
"In any case, I shall investigate on my own. The doors of time-space must never become the tools of change. Ja ne." and with that, Setsuna turned while transforming into SailorPluto and disappeared into the frabic of time-space.
"Well then, its up to us, ne?" Michiru half-joked to Haruka. Haruka only looked straight ahead with a grim and determined face.
