Come October, these mini-busts will
be available for 200 yen in finer gumball machines across
Japan, but Kaiyodo already pre-released a number of them at
Wonder Festa in early August, and they're starting to show up
on the online auctions. The complete lineup consists of Vash
(shown above, slightly larger than actual size), Wolfwood,
Meryl, Father and Son Nebraska, and Kuroneko-sama (images at Animate).
The god of anime (Osamu Tezuka!?) blessed me with one of the Vash busts that turned up at Mandarake, and I must say, it's pretty nice. There are a couple of tiny flaws in the molding and paint job, but it's extremely detailed and a terrific deal for two bucks. I wish they'd make more of these--I'd love to put together a Trigun chess set.
