Fans seeking the elusive
Kuroneko-sama stuffed toy (a premium item available only to
Japanese customers who purchased all the videos/LDs back in
1999) should be aware of a somewhat similar stuffed black cat
now on the anime-goods market. The Trigun Kuroneko-sama toy
is standing on all fours. The other cat, from the bishounen
series "Cafe Kichijouji De," is posed in a
stretched-out lying position with a zipper in its belly and a
strap on its back, so you can use it as a purse. The
"Cafe" cat's facial expression is rather different
(note the half-moon eyes--Kuroneko-sama's are usually oval),
but at a glance, you could mistake it for a rather loose
interpretation of Kuroneko-sama.
