KENYA...THE UPSET TEAM

KEN_LOGO_100x100.gif (1603 bytes)

In 1996, Kenya made history at Pune during the World Cup. Not only did they beat the West Indies, but they humiliated them, bowling them out for less than 100. In the three nation tournament with India and Bangladesh they endeared themselves to the crowd with a superb performance, during which they upset India as well. They lost the final, but have given a good display. Their chances are slim, but they can reach the Super Six.
