Ferrio's Room

Hey! I'm Ferrio, your guide!

The only reason that I can think for your being here is because you're curious about the cool guy that lives in this room. Well, wonder no longer! For I, Ferrio, am here to tell all! Or as much as I want to, anyway. I'm a swordsman from the world of Cephiro, and it's my duty to defeat and kill monsters. Hence the dragon setting that I have going here. I"m also in love with a beautiful young woman named Fuu Hououji. She's one of the three Legendary Magic Knights. The only true complaint that I have with her is the fact that she doesn't live in Cephiro, she comes from The Other World, and so I don't get to spend as much time with her as I would like to do. Drat.

I'm the younger brother of Princess Emeraud, and I'm still trying to get used to the fact that I'm nobility. You see, I used to be part of a group of traveling entertainers, and I had to work in order to live. Now I'm still having to work, but it's more of working to defend Cephiro from monsters and the like. Not really a bad job, and I have fun while I'm doing it.

Let's see.... I think I'll tell you some of what I think about my hallmates. I get along with all of them, but Lantis is the one that I can relate to the most, simply because he's from Cephiro, as well. Lantis is a very tall, quiet man who is very self contained. Yet he's a really good guy, and is in love with Hikaru Shido, a friend of my beloved Fuu and a fellow Magic Knight.

Van Fanel is someone I can really relate to. He was forced into the role of King of Fanelia simply because his older brother had disappeared, and the rest of his family had died. Van is from a world known as Gaea. You can't see it from Earth, but you can see Earth from Gaea. Van is another good guy, but he's very impulsive and has a habit of letting his anger rule his head. He's also a wonderful swordsman, and I enjoy sparring with him, though the first time he saw my "overgrown saber", as he calls it, he turned a bit green around the gills.

Ranma is probably coming close to being one of my better friends. The poor guy really gets it from his fiancee, Akane. It's so obvious that he has no interest what so ever in those other girls who are chasing him, yet she always takes any little incident and blows it out of proportion. Scary lady. And then there's Ranma's . . . er . . . problem. Being cursed to turn into a girl when hit with cold water doesn't sound like a lot of fun to me, but Ranma seems to be handling it much better now than when he first got cursed. Of course, being cursed does make him the butt of Xeros' jokes. . .

Which, of course, brings me to the trickster priest. I don't know what to say. I think he's a fruitcake and then some. Alyson seems to like him a lot, and they get along well enough, but sometimes he can get irritating with the jokes and his classic, "Sore wa himitsu desu." Which translates into "That is a secret". Not much is know about him other than the fact that he's a member of the demon race. The rest is anyone's guess.

Inu Yasha is another demon, but he's a bit more down to earth than Xeros is. He comes from Feudal Japan, and is on a quest to gather together the Shikon no Tama, or Jewel of Four Souls, along with a lovely young lady from today's age named Kagome. He has an even quicker temper than Van, and a very dirty mouth, but then again, don't we all? *grin*

Ryouga is a friend/rival of Ranma's, and like Ranma, he is cursed to change form when hit with cold water. Instead of turning into a female, however, he turns into a tiny black piglet. Quite cute, and another victim of Xeros' jokes. Ryouga also has a lousy sense of direction. For example, Alyson's dorm room is directly across the hall from the bathroom. Easy to get to, right? Ryouga left once to use it, and we didn't see him again for a week. If that's not bad, then I don't know what is.

The last resident who actually stays longer than a day is Erik, The Phantom of the Opera. You want to talk about a fascinating person? He was born with a deformed face, and he goes around wearing a half mask. He's a genius when it comes to playing music. I've seen him play glasses with different levels of water in them, and everyone in the Waystation will stop and just listen to him. He has this gift of being able to make us feel what he's feeling, or what the music is feeling at the time. It's just wonderful to sit and listen to him. I'm trying to get him to make me a tape of romantic music that's full of love so that I can give it to Fuu for her birthday. *smile*

Well, I've yakked your ear off. I hope you enjoyed visiting, and be sure to come back!
