The archangels are supposed to act more
serious than the demons. However, they still show their weaknesses when
they are faced with love: love among themselves, and love concerning others.
Although I have put some of the angels such as Kohaku, Hisui and Touki
as females in these pages, I believe that CLAMP has created them to be
all male. Well, angels are Sons of God all right, but isn't sodomy viewed
as a horrible sin in the Bible? I'm not asking for a religious debate here,
but it seems that people, no matter what gender loving what gender, are
usually blinded by love. Touki acts against his personality to accept Ranshou's
tenderness, and Ranshou dares to make just this one mistake (by God's law,
at least) in his life even though he is always obedient to God. And Ryuuki...
I never remember him appearing calm ever since Hisui becomes away from
Heaven. They are the leaders of the angels (though we didn't see other
angels except Kohku), and little wonder there should be that Kohaku will
fall in love with someone too. Isn't that why God has to trust rabbits
to do work for him besides all the angels? Fortunately, all our characters
are wishing for love, not desire. I wish those who want to say "I love
you" to someone truly knows that love is to care about that person and
want that person to be happy, instead of hoping to claim ownership of another
individual or to fulfill some selfish desires. |
