Wish 2 Contact.9 Under the Wisteria Flowers So Kohaku and Kouryuu combine their power to go back thirteen years in time. To balance their forces, Kohaku has to change back into his small form to work out the hougan with Kouryuu. A hougan diagram is formed as the doorway to another dimension. In Shuuichirou's house, Hisui and Kokyou have sensed the hougan of returning to the past. There seems to be quite a strong power under the wisteria tree, Kouryuu has noticed. The two went back to the time just before Shuuichirou's mother disappeared. Kouryuu says that time will be the same when they go back to the presence, but he is planning to dump Kohaku in the past and returns alone. The people cannot see them flying through because they do not exist in the past. They soon reach at Shuuichirou's home, and they find a girl in kimono resting beside a tree. Kouryuu immediately points out that she does not seem to be a human being. When the girl opens her eyes, she talks to them, meaning that she can "see" them across different dimension. Kouryuu warns Kohaku not to approach the girl, but Kohaku argues that she must be a kind person as her smile is so beautiful. However, Kouryuu tells him that there are demons he knows who can smile as pretty as angels. The girl asks their names, and she realizes Kohaku and Kouryuu are names of gem stones. She tells them that her name is Hotaru. Hisui and Kokyou are heading towards the park. They worry about Kohaku and Kouryuu because such hougan can be very dangerous. Hotaru does not only know that they are from the future, but she can also reach out and touch Kohaku's hair. Kouryuu is angry with suspicion, and he wants to attack Hotaru with his power. Kohaku stops him, saying that he knows Hotaru is a good person even though he does not have any proof. Young Shuuichirou is just away from home. Kohaku asks about his mother, and Hotaru shocks the both of them as she is Shuuichirou's mother. Shuuichirou now returns and is walking into the garden, and he asks his mother if she is feeling hot as it is summer. Kohaku and Kouryuu hide away and watch. Hotaru replies him that she feels cool under the trees, and she enjoys taking an afternoon nap in the garden. She asks Shuuichirou to carry her to get change. Hotaru cannot walk. Kohaku and Kouryuu find it hard to believe that Hotaru is Shuuichirou's mother, as she looks like only 13 or 14 years old. Hotaru asks them to come into her room while she is waiting for Shuuichirou to bring her the clothes. Kohaku asks whether she knows of the song grandpa has told him, and she starts to sing. Hotaru catches up quickly. Kouryuu can sense that the trees outside are very happy with this, and he must admit that Hotaru sings as lovely as an angel. Shuuichirou comes in with another kimono, and Hotaru says to him he has brought in the right one. She then asks if he ever feels strange that she would know about colours and patterns on the kimono, knowing that she is blind. Kohaku and Kouryuu are again astounded by this because Hotaru has seemed to be always looking at them when she was talking to them. Shuuichirou just says to Hotaru that he has already get used to it. Hotaru touches his face, being concerned. Yet, Shuuichirou dropped his gaze and replied "nothing." Kouryuu has realized "something" between the mother and the son, but Kohaku does not know a thing. Hotaru says that the kimono she has asked Shuuichirou to bring to her has wisteria patterns on it, and it was bought and most liked by Shuuichirou's father. She wants to wear it because Shuuichirou's father is coming back that day. She then asks Shuuichirou to help her to get changed. Kohaku says Hotaru does look younger than Shuuichirou, but Kouryuu again says Hotaru is not human at all. ---
