Wish 4: I want to become happy with you
Wish 4
Contact.23 Life-long Companion

Shuuichirou is dead.

Grandpa comes to organize the funeral. All others, including the archangels, are gathering together to comfort Kohaku. Kokyou says (a lot of things) that Kouryuu, Hari and Ryuuri, feels good about being around Shuuichirou but the angels don't is because Shuuichirou is a person who is going to die, and demons are particularly sensitive to the souls that are soon coming out of a body. Shuuichirou must be a good person because demons specially love to eat good souls. Although people believe that when they die, their souls will go either to Heaven or Hell, the truth is that souls that are not taken by demons will reincarnate and come back to this world again. The book he ask Kouryuu to bring him from Hell records all the ends of all creatures in the world, and it says Shuuichirou was going to die. God has summoned Kohaku back to Heaven because He knows Shuuichirou is going to die and He would like to stop him loving such a person. Yet, since Kohaku returns to him again, God has always been trying to stop Kokyou from telling others about the truth so that Kohaku can live happily a little bit longer.

Kouryuu still feels angry with God's punishment on Kohaku. He thinks it is unreasonable for Kohaku to remain as a chibi now that Shuuichirou is dead. He says bad things about God, but Ryuuki argues with him. A Usyagi appears at this point, and it comes to bring a flower (God's message) to Kohaku. Kouryuu tries to stops it because he does not want it to lay more punishment upon Kohaku. However, Kohaku reaches out to receive the flower, saying that nothing will be worse than living without Shuuichirou. Surprisingly, he finds out that God wants him to sleep 100 years and wait for the reincarnation of Shuuichirou. God also appoints Hisui and Kokyou to protect Kohaku when he falls into the deep sleep. Hisui says that God still adores Kohaku after all, and Touki agrees because an angel cannot go into a deep sleep with his hougan, and God has removed Kohaku's hougan beforehand.

The archangels disappear when Shinichirou (grandpa) walks in. Hisui hides the chibi Kohaku behind Kokyou's back, and tells grandpa that Kohaku is sick and can't come out to see him. Grandpa then tell them that he would like Kohaku continues to live in Shuuichirou's house and would like them to accompany him as well. He wants to cremate his grandson's body with Kohaku's amber earring, hoping that his grandson will be happy with it. Kohaku feels very grateful for the old man.

That night, Hisui, Kokyou, Kouryuu and the three archangels helps Kohaku to attain his 100-year sleep. They bid farewell to him, but all wishing to see him again 100 years later. So Kohaku rest peacefully among the wisteria in the garden.

Many years later, a youth wearing a strange amber pendent walks into this garden. He observes the contrast between this old structure and its modern surroundings. He walks around and stops when he sees an angel coming out of a tree. And that angel calls out to him "Shuuichirou," which is his name. The angel introduces himself as Kohaku, and he is there to realize his wish. Yet, Kohaku first tells him his wish, which is to be at his side ever after.
