The Heart's Orientation

Hisui is as beautiful and calm as ever. It is sunset when Hisui appears, so Kohaku changes into a doll again whereas Kouryuu regains his mature form, but Hisui remains the same beautiful look as he is the archangel. Kohaku feels strange that he cannot sense anything from Hisui's wings now. Kouryuu becomes impatient when the two angels chat together and ignore his presence, and he wants to attack them with his magic power again. Yet, he stops as Kokyou appears. Kohaku tells Shuuichirou that Kokyou is the son of the Devil (ruler of Hell). Kouryuu and his two fledglings think that Kokyou is coming to help them to bully the angels. Hari and Ryuuri finally remember that Shuuichirou looks so much like Kokyou, both are tall, strong and handsome. Kohaku has realized Kokyou's left eye is now white in colour.

Not knowing Kokyou's stance, Kohaku bravely stands in front of Hisui to protect his teacher, but Shuuichirou also stands in front of them to guard against Kokyou. However, Hisui talks gently to Kokyou and tells him not to frighten poor little Kohaku. He also tells Kohaku to return to Heaven and to report to God that he has not found him. Kohaku persuades Hisui to go back to ask God's permission for staying in the human world or he will be punished, but Hisui says he does not have a good excuse to say to God. Kokyou then warns Kohaku (and Kouryuu, etc.) not to bother what they have seen today. The two great persons take off to the sky together, but Shuuichirou says loudly to them that Hisui owes Kohaku the reason why he chooses to stay. Hisui comes back and tells Kohaku that he will tell him the whole truth when he could put it in a logical manner. Kouryuu wants to know, too, and he threatens to report Kokyou's location to the Devil King. So everyone goes to Shuuichirou's house...

They gather on the trees in the garden. Kohaku asks Hisui politely why he does not want to go back to Heaven, and Hisui tells him that he is no longer an angel. Kokyou takes up the explanation, pulls Hisui to himself, and says that that is because he has already "taken" (eaten, consumed) him "from head to toe." Kouryuu is shocked and scolds Kokyou that he should not touch an archangel no matter what. But Kokyou says that he did not know Hisui was an archangel when he saw him at the Bridge and thought he was just a new angel. Kohaku has been silent for a while, but he amazes everyone by asking why he finds Hisui looking all right if he has already been eaten by Kokyou from head to toe... (More about this "eating" phenomenon at the end of Wish 3.)

Hisui and Kohaku are left alone on the roof to talk together. Kohaku has decided not to tell God about seeing Hisui because he likes him so much and would like him to be happy with his beloved. However, Kohaku is still staying because he has not yet helped Shuuichirou to realize his wish as he has promised before. He asks Hisui to explain to him what he meant when he told him "everyone must have a wish that cannot be realized alone," but Hisui says that he must find the answer by himself.

Up on the tree, Kouryuu still loathes Kokyou for having an affair with an archangel. Kokyou says that even if he had known Hisui was an archangel before, he would still seduce him. Kouryuu says Kokyou will go for whatever which is green (Hisui=jade, which is green). However, Kokyou makes a statement when he says he will never go after another again. This irritates Kouryuu, who exclaims: "Can't I arouse you sexually anymore?" Kokyou covers Kouryuu's mouth with his hand at once.

At the end, Shuuichirou asks all of them to stay in his house as they haven't planned where they should go to. It is because he thinks that having them as companions would make Kohaku happy. Hisui tells Kohaku that Shuuichirou might be the right person who can help him to solve the question. Therefore, Shuuichirou's house becomes the dwelling place of a clumsy angel, a fallen archangel, a cool devil, a mean demon and two sexually active cat-girls. ( -_-;)
