The Angel's Song
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

The important job of Kohaku in Heaven is to sing to the "Angel Eggs" growing on a huge tree so that they can be hatched and born. It requires the singer to be pure at heart, and Ranshou believes that Kohaku is perfect for the job.

Shuuichirou loses his appetite day after day, and so does his grandfather. Hisui knows that Kohaku has started to realized that Shuuichirou is special to him, but he wonders how Shuuichirou feels towards his favourite pupil. However, Kokyou says that things would be better if they leave it as it is because things will get nasty otherwise. He is about to explain why to Hisui, but an emergency happens in the kitchen again. Kokyou wonders if there is some mysterious forces that prohibit him from telling others the truth related to Shuuichirou.

Grandpa wants to make Shuuichirou to get Kohaku back. Yet, his grandson does not know much about Kohaku and has simply no clue where to find him. He even admits that he thought, when Kohaku asked his opinion before he left, he would return to him after he has finished whatever he has to do. Grandpa feels unhappy for him, but he then says he (Shuuichirou) is very much like his father, who likes to bring strangers home. And we are told that not only Hotaru, but also Shuuichirou himself is brought home by his father and is claimed by him as his son. Nevertheless, Grandpa wants Shuuichirou to be happy with the person he loves no matter who he really is.

Kouryuu has returned to Hell with Hari and Ryuuri, but he is immediately summoned by the Devil King to report Kokyou's whereabouts. Kouryuu lied to the king, but he knows it won't be long that he and God will know that Kokyou and Hisui are together in the human world since the next meeting at the Bridge is coming.

In Heaven, Kohaku now sees some wisteria flowers, and he asks Ranshou to leave him there for a while. He sings Hotaru's song to them, but memories of Shuuichirou brings him heartache. Ranshou returns to Touki and takes him for a ride on the flying beast. The both are actually lovers, though it seems that no one else has known at the moment. They discuss about the affair between Kokyou and Hisui, whose disappearance will soon be put forward at the Bridge by God Himself.
