I’m 25 and live in Brisbane. I did a Bachelor of Economics at the University of Qld but quickly realised it was useless and went into sales and marketing. Now I run a small business with two old uni friends. It’s a training brokerage, basically we go out to businesses and govt departments and sell the services of about 8 different trainers. They cover things like sales & marketing, computer training, personal development, motivation, financial success, presentation training etc. It’s not huge at the moment but we’re working on it.
At uni I was a member of AIESEC, an international student organisation in about 80 countries. From this, I did 4 months work in Poland in 1995 on a short-term traineeship. I’ve also worked in Singapore, for 2 months last year. I really love travelling and exploring new people and cultures.
I’m also a big sports fan. It’s a pity we’ll be away when the Bronco’s win the premiership, and maybe even the Lions in the AFL!!!
