There are different ways to bow, LEARN THEM!!!

If bowing to someone of a higher authority, when standing:

Hold your arms at you side.
Bend at the waist and look at the ground.
Remember: DO NOT LOOK THEM IN THE EYE!!!

If bowing to someone of higher authority, when sitting:

Place your hands in front of you in such a way      that your thumbs and index fingers are touching   and they form a square.
Bend at the waist.
Touch your forehead to your hands and say the       proper greeting.
Remember: Say the PROPER greeting and use the
PROPER sitting technique.

Gift Giving

When giving a gift or receiving a gift, use the standing bow method but keep these things in mind.

Hold the gift with your thumbs on the top and your fingers on the bottom.
Present it and when the receiver grasps it, bow to the ground without making eye contact.
