A FAQ? What in the name of Zero Star is that?! F.A.Q.
stands for Frequently
Asked Questions- there are the questions people often
email to the caretaker of
a site, the webmaster/webmistress. Before people email
with questions, sometimes they stop by the FAQ to see if that questions
been asked, and answered, already.
The Tomb is constantly being questioned for this and that,
but here are a few of the most frequent ones. Occasionally, I may post
not so frequent ones as well.

WHAT A NEAT IDEA [THE TOMB]!
WHY DID YOU DO IT?
I'm not just flattering myself- I get this question a lot more than you
think!
A few years back, I kept seeing glimpses of various manga only characters
and senshi ,or maybe a name or passing mention now and then. It was
so frustrating to know that there were so many more great characters out
there beyond the standard planets of Earth's system, and beyond the Starlights,
and no one seemed to care or even have a clue of who they where!
So, being the nutty little moonie I am, I went about researching, asking
questions, and eventually collecting enough information to build a series
of little shrines, patch together with slipshod HTML( I had no idea webpage
composers even existed at the time) an tada! I made the Tomb. Originally,
it was the Tomb of the Unknown Senshi, but i found that a bit harsh-
some of these, like the Animates, were not totally unknown, so the title
changed to Tomb of the Little Known Senshi instead. More awkward,
I know, considering the recent fad of stylishly brief titles, but it fits
the site and I like it that way.
WHY FAN ART?
Why not? There are not many- if any at all-
full body color pictures of any of these little knowns. Most pics you do
find are just black & white or color stained manga pics that never
show the full view, and, nothing personal, but I DON'T WANT TO BE LIKE
EVERYONE ELSE! Where's the originality in that? If I have the means and
talent to create full body color images, I'll take it! I also like the
personal touch it adds to my Tomb while giving me an excuse to do what
I have the most fun doing- art.
Overall, I've gotten a great of positive reviews on using my art instead
of manga pics. Only one person has ever emailed me to complain about my
use of fan art, but that person sounded, well, a teensy bit jealous in
her angry complaint, so I can't say I took it it too seriously. It's my
site. The art stays. Period:P.

WHERE IS THE GALLERY? WHY DID YOU
TAKE IT DOWN?
I took the gallery down because it was taking up a lot of space in my Geocities
account. You see, the first Tomb Gallery was just a bunch of large pics
from my collection all thrown together on a few pages, and large pics are
bulky and slow loading. I received a lot of complaints about it, so I'm
presently trying to remake it.
A major reason I took the gallery down is because the Tomb is meant to
be an INFORMATION site, not a gallery site. In fact, the only reason I
added a gallery was due to popular request for one, but people began to
focus so much on the gallery that I realized they weren't really learn
anything, totally missing the point of the Tomb, so eliminating the gallery
definitely helped me focus on its purpose- to help others learn about little
known characters of Sailor Moon!
WHEN WILL THE GALLERY BE BACK UP?
I'm remaking the whole site elsewhere, actually turning my large collection
into a site of its own, Animates Et Al, an extensive gallery to provide
pictures of animates and other little known characters of the Sailor Moon
Sailor Stars series. It will be a kind of sister site to the Tomb.
I've recently acquired all 18 manga volumes of Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon
(I love you, Kinokuni-ya Bookstores!) and I've been scanning like crazy,
but this is A LOT of work for one person, and I do have a life to live,
believe it or not. I do my best to work on the gallery in my spare time,
but it's still slow in coming. It will be done this summer, but when this
summer? I can't say.
Also, I put a counter on the front page of the gallery. It's gotten over
300 hits since I put that front page up a few months ago, and that's more
than the Tomb itself got in its first few months of existence! I'm just
a little curious, but are you guys that eager to take pics from
me?! Just to click, take, stick it up on your site, and say "look what
I found!" without giving an once of credit to the person who went through
all the work of scanning it to you? I'm beginning to see how all the other
big gallery caretakers must feel, like Sailor Grub of Sailor Grub's
Reflections (currently -=::Wax
and Wane::=-). She has had to take her gallery down
numerous times, because of ungrateful moonies who not only stole without
giving credit, they also made direct links to her images, in "clever" attempts
to save space, which screwed up their sites as well as hers!
Look people, I'm as eager to get this gallery to you as you are to to see
it, but it really ruins my motivation and makes me paranoid to think of
all this crap other Sailor gallery caretakers have to deal with; is it
really worth the effort? Humor me, be an honest bunch, and give credit
where its due. I want to help you, not be taken advantage of; is that too
much to ask?
HOW DID YOU DO THAT IMAGE MAP? WHAT'S
WRONG WITH ITS COLORS?
The image map would be that huge group picture in front that's linked to
all the little known info pages, for those who didn't know.
Despite popular belief, it's not a nifty function of Geocities. I
built it offline, using a free trial version of Coffee Cup Image Mapper++++.
Go to the site and download it to make your own image map. It's really
easy, and when you've made the map, save it, then copy its HTML into you
page HTML where you want it, upload the image the map will be one, and
you're done!
As for color, the original map was full color, at 265 bit, but I received
a lot of complaints on its loading speed, so I reduced the picture to 16-bit
color instead, and that's why its colors look so crappy. There's nothing
wrong with your computer's monitor, do not adjust your set^^.
