  • 4 cups cabbage (shredded)
  • 2 cups jicama (shredded)
  • 2 medium carrots (shredded)
  • 4 green onions (thinly sliced)
  • 1/3 cup picante sauce
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 3 tbsp white vinegar

How to Make Tex Mex Coleslaw:


  • In a bowl, mix the picante sauce, sugar, vinegar and oil
  • Add the remaining ingredients and toss
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (no longer than 24 hours)
  • Serve as a side dish
