Eisen |
Keisai Eisen (1790-1848) was well-known for his pictures of women. Eisen did not learn in the two major schools: Utagawa School and Holisai's circle; instead, he worked alone. He produced o-kubi-e, or "neck" pictures which are the pinnacle of the decadent taste. Eisen excelled the pictures of women with Kunisada.
