Kunisada

Utagawa Kunisada (1786-1864) was the most gifted pupil of Toyokuni and also the most prolific of all ukiyoe artists. However, after he became the chief pillar in the genre of women, he produced maybe too many works, and accordingly, he produced poorer quality of works. Therefore, his later works were not applauded, and you can find his masterpieces among his early prints, which he signed with the name Gototei Kunisada.
