What I like most about your homepage is not the layout but the contents of it which I normally judge a quality of a good homepage. I think that most important is the capability of the homepage to publish information for the users. I appreciate that you pu lish Jin Yong novels as it will be great for surfers out there.

Louis Cha no longer writes emprise novels but he is writing something interesting for the news media. As I read from the Next Magazine on the web, Mr. Louis Cha is now writing Chinese history critiques, fictions or s mething along those lines for the Hong Kong's English newspaper South China Morning Post. I have spent so much time is this site! I think this is the best site I have ever been to! To me this is the best site! I only thing that I don't like was that some times it take to long to load graghics cause I think the background is too much. The site t self is pretty good but there was another site that had a place that talk about the intersting fact from the stroys, I think it would be cool if you do it too!

Can not download the screen saver ?!

Ah! The screensavers cause me trouble again (please refer to previous guest entry). After the summer expansion of this site (from the current 5 pages to a proposed 10), I probably have to remove this page. Well, back to business. Some of the guests have d wnloaded the sreensavers successfully. I cannnot figure out the reason. I suggest the universal way of downloading: "click on the hyperlink while pressing the "shift" key from the keyboard to download the file". If the problem persists, as the last resort you can make a screensaver yourself by AnimatedScreen from http://www.kagi.com/yellow/default.html as I did. Thank you for leaving a message here. Hi Scott. An English version of "The Duke of the Mount Deer" (鹿鼎記) has recently been translated by John Minford, a Hong Kong professor. The translated version is called "The Deer and the Cauldron" and published by Oxford University Press. The translate version has three volumes. Only the first one is available now. The other two will come later in 1998. For details, please visit http://www.chinesebooks.net/getpage.asp?ID=deer1.htm. It h s been told by the above website that "Book and Sword, Gratitude and Revenge" (書劍恩仇錄) will be the next novel to be translated.

Hi! i just wanted to comment on ur downloading site of the screensaver, i've downloaded the heaven.zip twice and it's not working, the shendiao zip file is not the file it must be, the file that will be downloaded there is the jinyong.zip and not the othe one i forgot the file name. Please check it out and email me if it's ready for downloading, or if u like, can u please attach the heaven.zip and the shendiao zip file (screensavers)and send it to my email. thank you very much. Anyways, this homepage is v ry cool and it's easy to surf, very interesting dragon u got there and it's really good.

Oh! sunshine! I really feel sorry for this matter. It's my fault. A correct URL for the shendiao screensaver has been redirected. In addition, I have constructed the heaven.scr all over again. There should be no porblem. If the problem persists, as the la t resort, you can make a screensaver yourself by AnimatedScreen from http://www.kagi.com/yellow/default.html as I did. As a troubleshooting tip, these screensavers occasionally cannot be previewed by the Control Panel. The solution is to click "preview" o other screensaver first, and then preview these screensavers.
