There is SO much Moon Love in Sailor Moon it's not even funny (duh, it's romantic) so I decided to built by own semi-temple to all the powerful love vibes coming from my TV everytime I watch the best show on earth! So now we start with the couple that shot off the whole thing, started the spark, ignited the flame...
It all started a long time ago in a time called the Silver Milleneum, a place called the Moon Kingdom. There, the princess of the moon and the prince of earth fell into a deep love. Princess Serenity and Prince Endymion were all over eachother but their kingdoms were at war (due to those stupid Dark Kingdom people!) and so they had to keep their distance. Depending on what storyline you follow (anime or manga) their fates are different. Either way, the moon kingdom is destroyed and they are sent, along with all the gaurds and such, to the Earth, 1000 years in the future.
They were reborn but didn't remember their past and so they couldn't find eachother. Finally, after a long searching, they were reunited. And then, they were separated. The Dark Kingdom trapped the Prince and turned him against his love. In the anime she heals him, in the manga she kills him: and then kills herself. Either way, they find eachother again (through rebirth or whatever) and pretty much live happily ever after, with A LOT of unhappy times in between.
In the sort of ending Mamo-chan leaves for America to study at Harvard. This is in the begining of Sailor Stars. The airport scene is SO SAD!!! He gives her a ring for her "ring finger" .oO(perhaps this means 'something'!) and he tells her that he loves her. She gets the happy face and then they..well, you know. So he gets on the plane and is looking at a picture of Usagi, him, and ChibiUsa when Galaxia attacks his plane, takes his starseed and kills him! Right before he dies he whispers his true loves name, "Usako". In the manga he is killed in the airport right in front of her, that would leave you with some issues! But he is brought back when Sailor Moon heals Galaxia.
Now, I know that this looks just a little bit nasty. Moon Love with a horse is not your normal couple thing. But fear not! This is ChibiUsa's one true love in the form of his spirit since his body was trapped by Nehelenia. He is really Helios, the priest of Elison. That is the land below the earth and Helios is the head preist who prays for Prince and the Earth's safety.
He comes as Pegesus to hid inside of ChibiUsa's pure dream. Her dream to be a lady. They become friends and get to know eachother little by little. Soon there is no way that they came be apart. When the Dead Moon Circus traps Helios and finds the golden crystal in his horn ChibiUsa is with him. The battle continues and she passes out but he revives her with a little "posative reinforcment"!!! Then, later, she is trapped by Nehelenia and she is THROWN OFF A LEDGE (that is, by the way, very high above the earth) and Sailor Moon jumps off to save her only precious daughter. Sailor Moon catches up to Sailor Chibi Moon and waks her up. They fall downtown Tokyo and right as they are about to hit the ground, Pegesus melds with both of them. They float down to earth in their princess gowns and Pegesus' wings.
Then the tearful goodbye...I can't do justice to it...you'll have to watch it for yourself!
These two are in a strange kind of Moon Love! As Sailor Neptune and Uranus, they are the partners. They fight side by side, no matter the consequences. They die together twice and as they die for the final time, they touch eachother's hands and vow their souls. It is very touching.
OK, now as Haruka and Michiru they are best friends plus. Always seen together, they tease the girls (well, Haruka teases the girls, Michiru makes fun of Mercury!!! HAHAHA...serves her right!) they build plans for the recovery of the tailsman, and they overall just look cute. They live together with Pluto in Stars. Michiru and Haruka are possibly the most in Moon Love next to Mamo and Usa. I think they are so beautiful together.
*to all you nasty people who are thinking "eww, they are lesbians" who cares, love comes in all shapes and forms, besides, they have to work together, why not expand?!!!*
