Shinobu and Yuya are her saviors! Yuya threw the man, and Shinobu shielded Nonoka from the drunk's broken bottle so that he was hit instead. Now the story gets interesting.
Shinobu used to be a judo prodigy, but since he got the scar, he can't do judo anymore. So when Nonoka meets him she can't figure out why he hates judo and people who do judo so much. She wants to find out so she asks around and eventually the story comes out. Nonoka feels terrible and quits judo, but Yuya convinces her to join again.
Yuya, who threw the drunk, was not interested in judo until he saw Shinobu on tv. Since that moment he has been in judo. He leads the judo club that Shinobu tries to shut down. Yuya is very close to Nonoka and that also makes Shinobu angry at him.
Shinobu and Yuya are also competitors for Nonoka's love. Yuya is very close to her and involved with judo, and he is very open about his feelings for her. Shinobu, on the other hand, is very quiet person and keeps his feelings to himself. Oh! Such a difficult choice! Personally I would chose Shinobu. But hey, that's just me. : )
Well I haven't read the entire story, so that's all I really know. If I do read them, I'll write some more spoilers and ruin the *entire* story for you!
