The Normal Society of Anime

I'm sorry it's taken so long to update this, but I have been really busy.

Due to scheduling conflicts over the last year, we have made our permanent meeting time the fourth Saturday of the month, starting at 6PM. With this new time, and new places, come new shows and routines.

First, we have a new projector. The "Three Eyed Monster" was donated by Dana Bayer, the gentleman responsible for our current mailing list. My old projector stopped working with most tapes, especially the fansubs.

Second, we have two places we meet: Adventureland and Metropolis Comics. Both have recently remodelled, allowing for extra floor space. Adventureland offers the smae convenience Cyberi@ did, a semi-private viewing area. The disadvantage is, we have to share the space with a slot car track.

Metropolis has the advantage of reading material during the breaks. It is also able to handle a smaller crowd, for now. It is also the permanent home of the Three Eyed Monster.

Finally, we ask that everyone help keep the two meeting locations clean. And since it's best to meet at Metropolis Comics (at 112 North St.) before the show, we can make the determination of where the actual meeting will be. AdventureLand is just down the block from the comic store.

Now for the fun stuff. Our current "permanent" shows are Kodomo no Omocha (Child's Toy) and Akazan(?) Cha-cha (Red Riding Hood Cha-Cha.) We are currently showing Nadia, Magic Circle Guru-guru, Legend of Himeko, and Starship Girl Yamamoto TV.
