This is a list of Character Profiles for the characters
written about/played in Fushigi Soudan. Each profile will have a picture
before it, if provided, that can be a link to a larger image if the picture doesn't fit 120x120 or close to that. A short, descriptive paragraph about the character appears after the picture, and explains who the character is with only as much information as the character's writer wishes to divulge. To update or create your profile as a member of the list, mail me, Ritz, or Tomite no Miko.
If no information is provided, then just the character's
name will be listed, so that people can keep up with how many characters
there are on the list. If you write up a character that owns a stall in
the marketplace that sells dumplings, you don't need to apply for the character or write up a profile for him/her. This is only for main characters which you predominately write about. If you wish to have a dumpling vendor as a main character, though, feel free! Be what you want within the confines of FY. And remember. You can have real world/Tokyo/modern world characters too, but if they don't tie directly into the book ShiJinTenChiSho (Book of the Four Gods Sky and Earth) somehow like Tetsuya and Keisuke did, you may find it rather boring, and I'd prefer if you kept involved with the book and story.

Taiitsu-kun is the maintainer of the world
that FY is situated in. Though she is not actually a god, she might as
well be one for her powers. She rarely intervenes in the affairs of those
in FY, but occasionally has been known to involve herself, especially if
she becomes interested in or favors a particular person. She usually doesn't appear, and if so, only at her own discretion. She cannot be summoned. She lives in a mountainous region known as Mount Taikyoku. Only the pure of heart who travel there can see the beauty of it and the palace where she lives. Anyone else would just see cold, dark, jagged mountains. |

Akusui is an "advisor" to the Rirnan army. He is a cruel, manipulative, and
power hungry person. His abilities include being able to steal ki from others -
and their abilities along with the ki. His goal is to find the 12 Statue pieces
that are scattered throughout the four lands. He is the main villain of FS, and
the person who runs things behind the scenes. He constantly hides himself under
a cloak, so no one really knows what his true nature or motives are. He is
extremely intelligent, versatile, and clever. In addition to that, he will stop
at nothing to achieve his hidden agenda. Akusui is not a force to be trifled
with lightly.

Washi of the Eagle Eyes is one of the Shitennou, a minion of Akusui. His
powers bring out the evil inside of a person, and he uses that to his
advantage. Also, he is called "Eagle Eyes" for a reason. He has the gift of
farsight, and can see nearly everything. He is arrogant, and loves wealth more
than he loves life. He is the classic example of a sadist, and he particularly
enjoys whips. Washi has no compunctions, and no morals. He is absolutely loyal
to his master, Akusui, because Washi knows that Akusui cannot be beaten. Washi
also sees Akusui as a vehicle to providing pain to the entire world. Washi
enjoys his job.

rather obviously gay. He stays with the Seiryuu shichiseishi because he is
attracted to Yumeboshi and Tomo, but he still something of a coward. He'll
purposely put himself into danger so that they could save him. He is intensely
jealous of Uruki, Ashita, and Inami, but does his best to hide it. Predictably,
he fails. When he is left behind, he doesn't give up. He'll keep following Tomo
and Yumeboshi until one of them admits that Kouji is the boy for him!

Chaka, is a descendant of a race of owls called the Grendowls. He has an
excellent command of magic but sadly, isn't all that bright. ^.^;;;
Chaka has the attention span of a 5 yr old (on good days) and is very fussy
about his appearance. He's also very eager to please the ones he does like,
by trying to get information they might want, or other helpful things. He has
the capability of learning more complex magic but he doesn't have any teachers.
He is very much like a child. Oh, and he's always hungry.

fool of himself so others can laugh and feel better. He tries everything

people and the bright side of things. To the point that he gets annoying
sometimes. But he's easy going, and loves everybody.
