The Inner Senshi

Tsukino Usagi - A clumsy, whiny, crybaby, but determined to the end. She is Sailor Moon.  Originally Princess Serenity, Usagi lives in the 20th century Japan with a mother, brother, and father.  She first becomes Sailor Moon when Luna gives her her powers. Usagi falls in love with Chiba Mamoru, or Prince Endymion, and the two are inseperable. Usagi is bubbly, happy, and a bit of a ditz sometimes, but when it comes to the people she loves, she will protect them as much as she can with all her strength.

Usagi later becomes Neo Queen Serenity and rules Crystal Tokyo with King Endymion and Princess Usagi (also called Chibi-Usa) Her powers as Sailor Moon are not specific to an element. They are often healing attacks.

Mizuno Ami - Ami is a studious, quiet, and shy girl who is very intelligent. She is Sailor Mercury. Ami loves swimming and reading, and is often seen with Luna. She is the second senshi to appear. At first, Ami was sort of an outcast in her school because of her brains, but headstrong Usagi quickly made friends with her. Ami's attacks are mainly water attacks, and many would say "weak", but her mini computer and quick thinking has gotten the senshi out of trouble many times.

Hino Rei -  Rei first appears when Usagi goes into a bus and sees a beautiful, raven haired girl get off and go into a shrine. Rei lives with her grandfather and his student. Rei goes to a private school, not the public one the other girls go to. She is also a priestess, and can see visions and such in fires. Rei is Sailor Mars, and has fire related attacks. Although her quick temper gets herself in many fights with Usagi, she really is one of Usagi's closest friends. Her faithful crows, Phobos and Demos, named for the moons of Mars, are also sailor senshi, and protect her.

Kino Makato - Makato transferred to Usagi's and Ami's school when she was thrown out of her old one for fighting. She is very tall, which is why she had to wear her old school uniform when she was in middle school. Later, when the girls enter high school, she wears the same uniform.  Makato's parents had died in a plane crash when she was young,so she lives by herself. She also has a fear of planes for that reason. Makato loves to keep household plants and cook.  As Sailor Jupiter, Makato has oak tree related and electric related attacks. She is headstrong and determined, but like all the others, she cares deeply for her friends.

Aino Minako - Minako lived with Englad before moving to Japan. In England, Artemis, the other advisor of Queen Serenity, had found her and made her Sailor V. She moved to Japan afterwards to join the senshi as Sailor Venus. At first, Minako goes to a different school, but also joins the others in high school. Minako is much like Usagi in personality, and loves to sing. Her dream is to become a movie star. As Sailor Venus, her attacks are mainly beams of gold. The names often have to do with love or beauty, the two things the planet Venus represents.
