TASUKI
Tasuki was the fifth seishi found in the series. Originally, he was the leader of the Mt. Leikkaku bandits, named Genrou, but he dissapeared for a long time, so one of the bandits, Eiken, unrightfully took his place. So, the story starts when Miaka, Hotohori, and Nuriko go to the mountain in search of the next seishi, following the mirror that Taiitsukun gave them.
Tasuki is basically a loud mouthed, tempermental guy who supposedly
"hates women". ^-^ He grew up with a household of women (his sisters), so
that's understandable. His real name is Kou Shun'u, and was born in Taito. Tasuki
has the seishi character "wing" in his right forearm. When Shun'u left
home and joined a group of bandits, he was given the nickname Genrou: "phantasm
wolf". This was because Tasuki had been given some enchanted cards by a
monk that can turn into anything he writes on them.
When Miaka
and co. arrived at Mt. Leikkaku, they were captured by the bandits. Miaka was taken away
by Kouji, Tasuki's best friend, for a "gift" for the leader. At that time,
the leader was supposed to be Genrou (Tasuki), but he had dissapeared for a long time.
Eiken, the supposed leader, was a big, fat slob of a guy, and stupid too. (that's
how I see him. ^-~) So, then, Miaka was a really big trouble, being trapped in a
room with Eiken. Suddenly, Genrou shows up, and takes Miaka with him, thinking she
was important to Eiken. Genrou then challenged Eiken for a fight for the position of
leader. Later, at the time of the challenge, the sides turned out to be Genrou,
Kouji, Miaka, Nuriko, and Hotohori against Eiken and the rest of the bandits. Eiken had
threatened the rest of the bandits with the tessen (iron fan that can throw flames with an
incantation "Lekka Shinen!") and only Kouji had stayed loyal to Genrou.
Eventually, Genrou managed to overthrow Eiken, by taking the tessen away, and
became the leader. 
After, Miaka asked again where the fifth seishi, Tasuki, was, (remember, they don't know it's Genrou yet), Genrou told them it was their former leader, and led them on a wild goose chase to a nearby town with a lady who could supposedly raise the dead. When they ran into trouble, though, Genrou appeared again and saved them, revealing that he was Tasuki. Kouji and the bandits had convinced him it was okay for him to go away to help the Suzaku no Miko.
Throughout the series, Tasuki is usually the funny, crazy, seishi among the rest. He had a certain grudge towards Tamahome, it seems like, since the two fought in one of the later episodes. Therefore, you see Tasuki picking on or teasing Tamahome a lot. Also, it seems like Tasuki became very good friends with Nuriko. Even though he may appear to be totally crazy most of the time, he can also be very serious and caring.
Tasuki was one of the remaining seishi at the end of the series. (Chichiri was the other one, the others... ::sniff:: died =( )
