mYsTiK: There was once a girl named Oosugi Suzuno. Her father was a friend of Okada Einosuke, (the father of Genbu no Miko and translator of the Shinjintenchisho.) When Okada Einosuke found out that Genbu was absorbing his daughter, he shipped the translated book over to Suzuno's father, and consequentially, Suzuno starts reading it and gets sucked in to become Byakko no Miko. She falls in love with one of her seishi, Tatara, and one of her wishes was to be together with him forever. However, Byakko must have been really picky or mean or something cuz he wouldn't let them be together. (I guess Suzaku's nicer.) Suzuno's will to be reunited with Tatara kept her from getting absorbed when she returned to her world. As for Tatara, as long as Suzuno's happy, he's happy. Sweet, huh? Anyways, back to the subject. Okay. Tamahome's just been skewered by Tomo and thrown off a cliff. Normally, he should've died, but he didn't. He was found by his old sensei Tokaki, who happens to be a Genbu seishi. One of the three remaining ones left. Anyways, Tokaki does something to Tamahome so that he's okay again, and then he goes and resues Miaka from Suboshi. The Suzaku group stay at Tokaki and Subaru's house for awhile. Tokaki and Tamahome have this discussion about how Tamahome should break up with Miaka because he's never going to be able to be with her. Tokaki should know. He witnessed it happening to Byakko no Miko and Tatara. So, Tamahome dumps Miaka and tries his hardest to forget her. Miaka says she'll meet him at a tower or something like that, but when she gets there, she sees Nakago and the Seiryuu seishi marching along. Miaka, being the person that she is, tries to follow them and gets caught. Meanwhile, Tamahome dicides not to pursue her at the tower. Tatara is kidnapped by the Seiryuu because they want the Shinzaho. He refuses to give it to them. Miaka loses her voice to Miboshi, and ends up in the dungeon with Tatara. Yui comes in and pretends to forgive Miaka. Tatara gives the mirror to Miaka, Yui "accidentally" splashes some water on Miaka, then takes the mirror while she's wiping her face. Then, she tells them Nakago's coming and runs off w/the mirror. Tatara uses his plants to break the lock on the door and he goes after Yui. Miboshi stops him. Big monsters appear. The ever-so-nifty Tatara uses his vines VERY effectively and destorys most of the monsters. The Suzaku seishi with the two other Byakko seishi appear. Miboshi threatens to destroy Tatara if anyone moves. (A big sharp claw is in front of Tatara's face.) Tatara flares out his whip and manages to pull Miboshi inbetween the claw and him. Miboshi dies. Tatara dies because he's so old and because he's not near the Temple of Genbu. Chiriko then dies cuz Miboshi has taken over his body, but he heroically killed himself thus killing Miboshi for good. Subaru has turned herself and her husband young again, and she's also turned back a day for Miaka, giving her her voice back. Yui starts to summon Seiryuu, and the Suzaku group goes after her. And I think that's where the Byakko story ends... Okay. So this has been a really crappy summary, but it's late and I'm watching game five of the NBA finals, and it's a really tight game... So... I'm a little distracted. =) Gomen.
