In-depth on Chiriko

The first Chiriko we met was Amiboshi. He was sent to pose as Chiriko (they painted a fake sign on his ankle,) and since he did have special powers, (being a Seiryuu seishi,) he was believed to be Chiriko. His real purpose was to disrupt the summoning ceremony of Suzaku and kill the other seishi and Miaka. Slowly, the fake Chiriko gained the trust of Miaka and the rest of the Suzaku seishi.

Then, during the summoning ceremony, Amiboshi started disrupting everything by playing that head-spliting (literally,) music on his flute. However, his notes were distorted but something else... A leaf whistle that belonged to the real Chiriko! He saved the ceremony and everyone was happy. (Well, sorta.) See, Chiriko had been studying for the second civil service exam (he passed the first one with the highest scores. From wut i've heard, the Civil Service exam is supposed to be extremely EXTREMELY hard. Scholars in the old days used to study for years before they take the first one in their thirties or something, then they study for a some more years and take the second one,) when he saw in the stars that something bad was going to happen, so he took his leaf whistle thingy and went to find Suzaku no Miko.

Chiriko's high intelligence is quite helpful at times. He knows like, everything there is to know about geography and people and everything, but when his sign disappears...Well, its another story. Chiriko life ended in bravery. He always looked up to strong brave men, and he died a real hero. See, Tatara had stabbed Miboshi and so he was dying. But, Miboshi has the power to take the bodies of others, and for him, it takes less energy to take the body of a young child. Chiriko just happened to be standing in the corner of the scene, looking cute and innocent as usual. The next moment, he looked evil and started conjuring up weird monsters to attack the others.

Chiriko was fighting a battle with Miboshi inside his body. He knew the only way to not to evil things and kill his friends was to kill Miboshi, and that meant killing himself. So then, he takes Miboshi's sharp rattle-looking thing and stabs himself. The other seishi are shocked, and even though Mitsukake's there, he can't heal him or else Miboshi wouldn't die and that would spell destruction for all of them, since Miboshi's really powerful. Chiriko stabbed himself over and over again and he died. *sniff* Another tragic story.

Well, I guess that all the info I can think of at this time that would be spoiler-like to Chiriko. Until I think of something else...
