He doesn't seem all that powerful maybe cuz he always listens to his betters and like, practically worships them.... Okay. So maybe I'm exaggerating. A little. Now on with the program. Tomo is introduced as Taiitsu-kun, (he set himself up as an illusion) and tricked Miaka into trying to seduce Nakago. This guy can mimic everyone so perfectly it's scary. It's the clams. They're awesome! Okay. Back to the subject. Tomo is another one of Nakago's admirers. (Maybe that's why he dislikes Soi.) He is usually potrayed looking like one of those old-fashioned Chinese Opera singer people with those sickenly high and disgusting voices (Not that Tomo's voice is like that, though. He's got the weirdest laugh. His giggle doesn't sound much better,) fancy headresses with the long feathery things at the end, and weird-looking face painting.
Tomo didn't have much of a past. (At least, not that I know of.) He was orphaned and I have no idea how he met Nakago or anything. As for his personality, Tomo is manipulative and cunning (well, sort of. Definately not as cunning or manipulative as Nakago.) He's really weird. I think that about describes him.
Tomo has pretty cool powers, as I'm sure I mentioned before. Let's see... He made Tamahome think Soi was Miaka, then he made Miaka fall into one of his clam things and be in an illusion back on Earth w/ this dude (who looked a lot like Tamahome) who tried to rape her. (It almost suceeded. Almost.) Then, he very nearly killed Tamahome by skewering him in the back w/the feather things, and then making him fall off the cliff. Tamahome WOULD have died, except he was found by the Genbu seishi Tokaki and Subaru. Okay. Back to the story. Anyways, Tomo tried to kill Amiboshi, who was trying to help Miaka. BIG mistake. Amiboshi tried to ward him off with the flute, but he just made duplicate copies of himself. When Tomo was about to get rid of Amiboshi, BAM! Something strikes him from behind. It's the ryuusuisei. Suboshi has arrived to save his brother. Tomo died, saying something about Nakago. O.o
