Story Summary of "Chai-nai-fun" :

This is a love story of a young girl that had wished that her love life would be like in a dream. It is a story of two kinds of love...one is true love that all would wish for, while the other kind of love is friendship with pure love.
Pune (Pin) was a young girl who lived with her aunt, Jit (Chanana). She has a friend, Ode (Chakrit), who loves and admires her. They both tell each other about everything. One day, Pune meets Kane (Pete) by accident. Pune was sure that he was the man of her dream...at first, Kane didn’t really like Pune, because of his previous love life. Kane was once in love, but then she died before they got married. Kane was not sure of Pune...until he began to know Pune a little bit longer. Kane and Pune were more close and was in love. Everything seem to go great, but Kane’s parents didn’t really like the idea of Kane and Pune together. Kane’s parents brought Jina into Kane’s and Pune’s life. As you can see, Jina is deeply in love with Kane and would not let him go that easily.
Kane told his parents that he loves Pune and will marry only her. Jina enters Pune’s life with jealousy in her mind and intentions of winning. Jina created some scenes with Pune at the music store, but Ode was always there to help her. Ode was the caused of Jina’s accident that made her go and recover herself in the hospital. Ode was fired. When she got out, she was ready for revenge.
Kane bought the music store where Pune worked. Pune was quite happy, she asked Ode to come back and work at the music store with her. Ode came back. Pune and Ode began to become a bit closer to each other...Kane was sure that they were being too close and not just friends.
Jina hired some people to burn down the music store. Pune was inside the store while the store was on fire...Ode risked his life to save hers. With this incident, Kane knows for sure that Ode loves Pune tremendously. Pune was then hospitalized.
When Pune felt better, Kane asked her to marry him. Pune was quite happy that her dream is coming to reality, but had not feel any great contentment like she had wished. Was it because she wasn’t sure who she loves??? Kane who is the man of her dreams; or Ode, her best friend who was always there for her and was the one who risked his life to save hers....who will she pick???
