Sho Fukamachi
Sho Fukamachi is the host for Guyver I. He stumbled upon the Guyver Unit outside of his high school while pining away because his love
(Mizuki) wants 
(Agito Makishima), not him.
A rogue Zoanoid, who had prematurely escaped from his development tank and stolen the Guyver Units from Cronos, went kamikaze when he was captured, detonating a mini-explosive which scattered the Units, severely damaging one of them.
Chronos sent their very best against Sho in their efforts to get the Unit-G back. After defeating several waves of zoanoids, Sho was forced to face Risker, the host for the second Guyver Unit. Risker was stronger and had better training and would have been able to defeat Sho had the second Unit not been damaged during the explosion.
Sho was able to exploit this damage and defeat a far more skilled opponent.
Once they realized the ineffectiveness of their zoanoids, Chronos sent their elite, the hyperzoanoids, the most effective of which was Enzyme.
Sho was killed by Enzyme I (formerly the head of Chronos Japan), who first disabled Sho's megasmasher, then stabbed him through the abdomen with his tail before tearing out his control metal, allowing his Guyver to go rogue.
The Guyver Unit regenerated Sho's body from a small amount of tissue that was attached to the leads and while he was unconscious, the Guyver Unit, with the aid of Guyver III, destroyed Chronos Japan.
Sho's feelings about the Guyver fluctuated until Chronos killed his father, sending him against Sho in the form of Enzyme II. After that, Sho decided to wage a private war on Chronos.
