Rumors:
*FFVIII will be a 4-5 disc game.
*It is due out, at the soonest, by the end of the fourth
quarter of 1998
*Over 200 designers are presently working on the game.
*More movie clips than FFVII.
*In fact, it's supposed to be a different universe, but there
will be some crossover.
*There will be a character named Cid.
*Red XIII may make an appearance.
*Four people to a party.
*Totally different magic system.
*There will be a airship in the game.
*A thing called Bahamut will be in FFVIII.
*200 staff starting the project.
*Nobo Uematsu will conduct the music. He has started
conducting the Main Theame.
*Released the 4th quarter of 98 or later.
*This time we will be treated fairly. The game is released at
the same time in the US and Japan. (MAYBE)
*FF8 will take place in a different time and universe than
FF7. (MAYBE)
*You can travel through dimensions. (MAYBE)
*FF8 is much more dramatic. (MAYBE)
*RedXIII is in the game. He lived long enough to be in
FFVIII. (MAYBE)
*The last boss is a secret orgaism that was living in
Sephiroth's body which is very tough to deal with. The
living organinsm was formed in his studying when
something blew up and one of those creatures bit him.

*Squaresoft possibly they will aim for a selling of over 7
million copies of Final Fantasy VIII worldwide. (Maybe)
*There will be a new system in the game were you will be
able to breed and raise monsters for combat, much like the
tomagachi. (FACT)
*There will be more mini-games in it, including a chocobo
shooting game and a sky-diving game. (FACT)
